But Huntsman still believes those things. Therein lies the difference. He is not pandering, or altering his position for the sake of this election.
Also, all incendiary language aside, his record IS a conservative one.
Disagree with him on climate change and evolution if you will, disagree with him on civil unions (he has essentially the same position on this as George W Bush), but it really is a ridiculous leap to call Jon Huntsman a ‘liberal’.
The argument against Huntsman(a reasonable one) loses credibility with me, when ridiculous labels, get slapped around like that.

A cute story about 4 progressives... one who drools over another and spits on the other two. Even Mark Steyn said newt was “not smart” yesterday, when subbing for Rush... and Mark is right. Flowery language is newt's forte but scratch below the surface and nothing works. Out of the 95 agencies that newt was going to cut or eliminate back in the day... ALL of them STILL exist and ALL have seen major increases in funding. romney... we ALL know about romney and huntsman is a chicom collaborator and obama butt-boy... joe is insane.
