Cain is history, I can bring myself to support Newt if it means stopping Romney.

How do you feel about Newt's stance on illegals?

he could be stronger on that issue and many more, but honestly at this point I just want to stop Romney.

“How do you feel about Newt’s stance on illegals?”

It’s not pretty and isn’t going to get accolades among conservatives, but it’s realistic. The Federal Government is not and probably should not spend significant resources chasing down illegals who have been here long term. I prefer the “self deport” option anyway. Arizona got it right; target the employers, and the illegals leave.

This talk about immigration is misplaced. We’re looking at the wrong door; it’s time to start looking at the talented entrepreneurs within the U.S. who are picking up their marbles and heading for the exits.

It's not my stance, but it's better than Obama's and it's better than what Romney's stance was until last week.

If I were a single-issue voter on immigration, I would not be supporting Newt.

I'm not, and I am.
