Though the exact point when the amount of taxation produces the highest revenue (see Laffer Curve) may be unknown, I sure as hell know that if you let businesses make a few more bucks, and collect taxes on the profit, you'll end up with more tax revenue at the end of the day. I have no confidence that raising tax rates will accomplish that and, in fact, I think the opposite is more likely.
So Chrissy, we'll compromise. Get out of our way and let us build a bigger pie, take a little smaller percentage out of it, and you can still have more pie on your plate!
