This girl has good reason to be afraid: Aqsa Parvez was murdered by her father for not wearing the hijab, and Rifqa Bary was slapped by hers for the same reason. Then there is Islam's death penalty for apostates: Muhammad said, "If anyone changes his religion, kill him." Some schools of Islamic jurisprudence, however, allow for the imprisonment of a female apostate until she recants her apostasy.

She is very spiritually connected to God and encourages the whole family to be more religious but she is not violent or forceful. I wonder how common this is.
Years ago I was a cab driver. I picked up two Muslim women in burkas, their husband told me to take them to a local mall and paid me in advance. Wanting to have another regular customer I avoided looking at them for more than a glance or talking to them. When I dropped them at the mall both were wearing very low cut tight jeans and halter tops. When I picked them up for the ride home they changed back into the burkas. They became regulars.
I encountered the same thing later in my neighborhood. I seldom saw his wives and they wore burkas when he was home. After he left for work the wives would come to my place looking good and we’d watch TV or just talk and joke around. Before he came home they’d leave and put on their burkas.
Supposedly it is quite a scene aboard European airlines between Saudi Arabia and Europe, as women in burquas transform into fully Western dress and makeup.
90% of islamic “belief” is based upon pure fear. That’s why women are covered: to see who is stepping outside the rules.
That’s why the 5X daily public prayer: to see who is not playing the game, and punish him.
That’s one reason. I can think of others for the burka.
Muslim men seem very unsure of their sexuality. They have a fixation on female virginity and chastity, a woman who is raped is punished. Men can’t handle the thought that their women might find that other men might be better sexually. They can’t handle the thought that another man might find one of their wives attractive.
