With more devices than ever that stream television content — including iPads, smart phones, computers, and plain old TVs — the ability of parents to police their kids' viewing habits has eroded significantly. This can be particularly concerning to parents who don't want their children watching television shows featuring sex, drugs, and violence, with nary a consequence in sight.

I am very careful about what my boy watches. We have a family cable package to help weed out harmful programs and as an IT professional, we lets just say I manage my home internet very closely.

I don't want my kid exposed to the garbage coming out of Hollywood or the Liberal message attached to it.

To show everyone how screwed up the Liberal mentality is, here is a comment regarding this topic posted on Foxnews no less:

"As a hardcore lib with no respect for "family programming", I of course disagree with every show being on this list except one - 16 and pregnant. This show is a problem for kids because it doesnt properly show that you can get an abortion. At least a few girls on the show should be filmed after they abort their fetus. Kids should know that if they get pregnant, they can get an abortion and then their life will go back to normal. So I think its a bad message to show 16 yearolds having babies when abortion is likely the better option."

How disgusting is that!!

And these are the people we are supposed to "compromise" with!

The media in America is a sewer, a dishonest one at that.

the Most Dangerous Show...

Is Sesame Street. It's main purpose is to teach our kids how to watch TV, teach them how to operate a remote control, and how they can lead a life dominated by the idiot box.

Do you block Japanese anime subtitling sites?

90% of them are pretty perverted.

I like American Horror Story, but yeah, it’s not for kids.

American Dad is not very good. The rest of those shows are utter trash.

Is there some kind of law that requires me to have a TV in my home?

If not, I’m in good shape as I managed to raise kids without a TV in the house.

I wish I would have been smart enough to get rid of my TV’s when my son was born.

I am very careful about what my boy watches.

Same here.
The Boy is 16 and likes watching "King of the Hill" I download from the internet.

That and cooking shows on cable...who knows?

Glee.

Degrassi High.

I'm sure that there are others of the same type of which I'm blissfully unaware.

Kids should know that if they get pregnant, they can get an abortion and then their life will go back to normal.

My wife and I know women who have had abortions, for most their lives never get back to normal.

What young girls should know is that they may have messed up and gotten pregnant before marriage, but God loves them and their babies, they should never kill what God loves.

None of my daughters have ever gotten pregnant outside of marriage, but if one did, God help anyone who kills my grandchild. That would be my grandchild in her womb and it had best be born alive.

My husband and I have mixed emotions about being childless. When I see stuff like this, I think, one less thing to worry about.

In some ways, such as the state of TV, I wish we could turn back the clock to 1960.

I wish the worst issue to debate was whether we could see Barbara Eden’s belly button in “I Dream of Jeannie”.

Can you imagine a show like “Gilligan’s Island” today? My God, just imagine the pairings up we would see. You know what I mean. And who would be the obligatory gay character if they made that show today?
