Every left-wing outfit short of Daily Kos, ACORN and the Black Panthers has sponsored a Republican debate, but now they object to Donald Trump! What a hoot!!

Well, if you don’t have the ba**s to Debate with Donald Trump being Moderator, are you gonna have the ba**s to Debate with Barack Obama being your opponent? I don’t think so. Paul is a nut, Romney is a wuss and Huntsman is a whiner.

For those who claim Trump is using this for publicity for himself only, they’re doing a great job of giving it more attention than any previous debate (all of which but 2 have been horrendous wastes of time, moderated by lefties). I vote NO.

Voted NO.

Trump will attract viewers to this debate, and regardless of what people think of him, he’s automatically a vast improvement over Scott Pelley.

Media seems to resent someone showing them up; as for RNC Repubs; they don't want Trump, tripping up Mitt in 'prime time'.

Cannot believe the fall out over this. Worse if not as amusing was hearing Chrissie Matthew railing against Trump. . .as IF, Matthew himself; was seriously respectable. . .Not enough room on the planet for Liberal arrogance.

As well. . .how would they feel if it were the 'seasoned' and 'newly professional' Chelsea Clinton; I mean she does have a real job at NBC as a reporter, no?

Of course, that would work!

National Review has jumped the shark on this one. A debate moderated by Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos is just fine for conservatives to attend and watch, but one hosted by Trump is bad?

Oh, right, forgot, it’s easy for Romney to polish up for that debate, because odds are they know what questions will be asked, or at the very least, what topics might be covered. Whereas the National Review is likely paranoid that Trump might make the debate about how to defeat Obama, or about all the idiotic policies in Washington, or .. could it be possible, perhaps even ask questions to candidates whom don’t know the answers?

I’ll have to hook up the old TV and pull out a converter box and watch it.

I wish Rush would host a radio debate between the contenders on his show.

The MSM would raise such a howl everyone would be listening.

In fact, all the conservative talk show hosts should hold debates.

I’m not understanding why conservatives would object to this Newsmax/Trump debate. It’s ok for CNN, MSNBC, etc. but not for this one? And we wonder what is wrong with this country?

Voted no.

It’s National Review, right?

National Review is a Romney Rag, right?

Romney already declined, right?

They’re trying to vindicate their boy Romney, right?

Right.

They shouldn’t go to Trump debate, but then they shouldn’t have allowed Leftist moderation of their previous debates either.

CNN wants to have a GOP debate? Fine, let the GOP pick the moderator. The GOP needs to grow a pair and state the obvious, “the MSM is Leftist by design” and their talking heads will not be moderating”.

Republicans should not skip ANY chance to get out their message. Why would any Republican not want to educate the American people concerning their beliefs..Only those wanting to cover up something would want to skip a debate.

It’s simple. If you don’t do the Trump debate, you’re a liberal faggot and not worthy of consideration.

Welcome to the United Soviet States of America..where the Pravda State Media “vet” the candidates to the pleasure and needs of the RinoCrat UniParty.

This “election” will be a non-election...featuring the state approved “candidates”-whose only distinction is whether they are black or white.

If you can have the likes of David Gregory and Wolf Blitzer as moderators, why not Donald Trump ... in fact why not Mickey Mouse?

Skip a “debate” moderated by a bullying, self-worshipping pr!ck who may very well work to guarantee Obama’s reelection by running against them as an indie?

Not “yes,” but “HELL YES!!”

I really don’t know why more people don’t see through Trump’s facade? I would NEVER trust that bastard.

I think this entire question is stupid. Sure, Trump is a shameless self-promoter, always working on his 'brand'. I would imagine, though that he could probably generate some decent ratings for this, and if he asked stupid questions, it would be him that looked bad, not the candidates. Why the hell will these guys let flaming leftists run debates and ask their leftist-slanted questions, but not Trump? I'm not saying that Trump is a conservative (IMO), but he's not near the level of Obama-lover that we've already seen.

Personally, I like the Lincoln-Douglas style debates, but it doesn't really become people to be whining about Trump being a moderator.
