[New Hampshire] Pro-life, pro-Perry
Concord Monitor ^ | December 7, 2011 | Ben Leubsdorf

Posted on 12/07/2011 12:30:32 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

Texas Gov. Rick Perry picked up an endorsement yesterday from Kurt Wuelper, the president of New Hampshire Right to Life.

"I know that Gov. Perry unequivocally believes that life begins at conception and does not waver in his protection of the unborn, unlike some self-professed pro-life candidates," Wuelper said in a campaign release. "But more than just talking the talk, Rick Perry has shown he is a man of strong faith and strong action."

Wuelper added, "He doesn't just fight against abortion, Gov. Perry fights for life. His dedication to providing assistance to pregnant women and encouraging them to choose life makes him exactly the kind of positive leader I want in the White House."

Perry TV Ad: I Can Defend Faith from Obama’s “War on Religion" …….."I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a Christian, but you don't need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there's something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can't openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school. As President, I'll end Obama's war on religion. And I'll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage," says Perry in the new ad titled "Strong."….

Amen!

Governor Rick Perry is unashamedly pro-life and profamily and has proven it over and over. He knows how to build coalitions and how to implement laws and regulations to test the license given abortion by Roe v. Wade. He pushes back when the pro-aborts try to push us down.

I work with several of the pro-life groups in Texas and Governor Perry is pro-life, he is there for us, he backs our Bills, signs them into Law and then uses them for his platform.

OK, so how do we try to help him get some traction?

What gives?

He's not a great public speaker, at least not in a debate format, but surely there's a workaround for that.

I like his ads, I really appreciate the work of CW, Shield, Smoothsailing, and all the other posters who put up threads.

Positive advocacy is still our best tool. We have so much to brag on with Governor Perry.

I’m also using my Twitter account, my blog and my Facebook account to advocate.

And then, I’m going to Iowa after Christmas.

You've been a wonderful source of good informatinon hocndoc! Don't know if you've seen this story yet.

Perry Could Rise in Iowa, Polling Data Shows .........."And, significantly, Perry’s positive rating among likely Iowa caucus-goers is at a commanding 67 percent. And a stellar 71 percent view him positively after having seen one of his commercials.

Other numbers that suggest a potential rise: Perry stands at 78 percent positive among self-identified tea party members, according to the survey.

But he also enjoys strong support among Iowa’s undecided voters, at 71 percent.

One of the poll’s most interesting findings: 67 percent of respondents overall — and a whopping 75 percent who are leaning toward former House Speaker Gingrich — state that they still may change their minds. That finding suggests that, with just a few weeks to go before the caucuses, the Iowa electorate remains very fluid."....
