Glenn Beck characterized Newt Gingrich as a big government "progressive" in the Teddy Roosevelt mold during a radio interview. Beck criticized Gingrich for his support for government initiatives to expand healthcare and curb global warming.

It was a label that Gingrich embraced, saying that in the area of healthcare, "I'm a Theodore Roosevelt Republican and I believe government can lean in the regulatory leaning is okay," according to the transcript of the Glenn Beck radio show.

Newt himself, not your “Obamacrats” shut up Nancy Pelosi, and he wasted no time in doing it. It is a shame that in the search for some sort of Conservative purity you people will seek to cast aside bulldogs like Newt and Rudy Giuliani.

He and Rick Santorum are also close personal friends.

Glenn said that when Rick was on his radio show a week or two ago.

Didnt he have Bachmann on right after Newt was on , yesterday on the radio show ?

think we have a lot of paid hacks using numerous usernames posting.
Yesterday JR banned a bunch of Ron Paul lot and found out through their IP address that they have been banned a bunch of times and had a bunch of usernames.

Obviously we all have certain folk we’d like to see win but does it have to mean we have to degrade others, attack others. Let the left do that

We have a great message right now to throw this idiot out, economy, are you better off under him, and stop crying about fairness, life is not fair get over it gun running, green energy scam pay off to donors, DOJ, immigration etc etc etc

Lets use our time to go after this idiot not our own all the time.

I came in at the same time. It was a place where thoughtful people engaged in discussion. Now, it is just as you say.

“In a speech that October to a Blue Cross/Blue Shield conference Gingrich said he held to the belief that the federal bureaucracy overseeing Medicare—then the Health Care Financing Administration, now the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services—would “wither on the vine because we think people are voluntarily going to leave” Medicare once market-based alternatives were made available.”

“Newt is so full of baggage that the Obamacrats are thrilled that he is ahead in the polls.”

************************FALSE***********************

They are scared to death, to run against Newt. It’s ROMNEY they want. Romney is this years McCain, not Newt. EVERYONE wants Romney (except the voters)

Newt doesn't swith (sic) issues. You have to examine exactly what he says. Newt may not be where I am on climate change, but he is willing to consider alternative positions. If we can do BOTH, get off foreign oil and reduce CO2 at the same time, why not do it? Not windmills and solar panels, but nuclear and natural gas. Clean coal and algae. Bio diesel. I don't disagree with a compromise where both sides win.

Don't soundbite Newt. Hear him out. He would listen to opposing views.

And will Glen support Romney as a “big government “progressive” in the Lyndon Johnson mold”?

No, no he won't. Any other questions?

First, I believe in the environment in general

One of the dumber statements from a purportedly "smart" man. Do you also believe in the sky, Newt?

Glen Beck isn't the sharpest political pundit in the drawer. My guess is his magic underwear are twisted up over Mutt Romney tanking in the polls.

Actually, he's trying to point people to Bachmann because she's the only real conservative left.

He is so darn beautiful.

I miss my last big guy so very much. I love my GSD, but I keep thinking that someday, I may be fortunate enough to have another proud Dobermann.
