American Airlines: Alec Baldwin Was Epic Jerk (Twitter account "deactivated")
TMZ ^ | December 7, 2011

EXCERPT

AA says, "Since an extremely vocal customer has publicly identified himself as being removed from an American Airlines flight on Tuesday, Dec. 6, we have elected to provide the actual facts of the matter as well as the FAA regulations which American, and all airlines, must enforce. Cell phones and electronic devices are allowed to be used while the aircraft is at the gate and the door is open for boarding."

"When the door is closed for departure and the seat belt light is turned on, all cell phones and electronic devices must be turned off for taxi-out and take-off."

"This passenger declined to turn off his cell phone when asked to do so at the appropriate time. The passenger ultimately stood up (with the seat belt light still on for departure) and took his phone into the plane’s lavatory. He slammed the lavatory door so hard, the cockpit crew heard it and became alarmed, even with the cockpit door closed and locked."

"They immediately contacted the cabin crew to check on the situation. The passenger was extremely rude to the crew, calling them inappropriate names and using offensive language. Given the facts above, the passenger was removed from the flight and denied boarding."

I am not an anti-actor anything. If we expect actors to not express opinions of a President than what the heck are we doing on this site. We as a collective group say some nasty things towards Obama. Why can’t the lefties when their is a Republican President? I never could understand that.

Rules are for the little people, not someone important like Alec Baldwin. He makes his living pretending to be someone else. In the old days, we called that mental illness.

I just can't get past the fact that they give Oprah millions of dollars a year. I am a United Guy. My uncle retired from United and we always have done business with them. Great company. You should really give them a look.

If you get a chance check out Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross. Probably his best performance. Of course he plays a real a-hole but he’s really really good

Naps, I agree with you. That said, Alex stepped into the kitchen, if he can’t stand the heat he should go lock himself in a potty somewhere. All is fair in love and Freep.

Really wish that Red October role had been handed to Harrison Ford instead. One of my fav flicks, but becomes less so with events like this.

I’ve watched that one a few times. Essentially, ALL of them are grade-A as$holes. They are all fraudsters selling worthless land to “invest” to those gullible enough to believe them...in a bar. Kinda like what we have in the WH.

And I always felt Ed Harris would have done a better job at the lead part.

Agreed on his performance in this film. Of course, they weren’t exactly casting him against type.

Mine too. I just pretend it was done at a time before he became so deranged and plagued with mental illnesses, which would include liberalism.
