There are tens of thousands of businesses that don’t advertise on it, should government force them to support shows they don’t like??

An elected official using his position to mount an assault on a private business?
Sounds like a crime to me.

An elected official using his position to mount an assault on a private business? Sounds like a crime to me. Only in a Constitutional Republic, something the current administration and Congress is close to eradicating in this country. They've done enough damage that these "small" violations don't even cause a ripple in public opinion... much less in the MSM.

Is there such a thing as a flash shopping spree?
How do you suppose one could organize one?

Home Depot is a mile and a half from my house, Lowes is 15 miles. But if this putzhead of a state senator persists I will happily drive the extra distance.

The Associated Press on Sunday that he would also consider legislative action if Lowe’s doesn’t apologize to Muslims and reinstate its ads.*******
Are you kidding me? A sponsor pulls advertising from a program and some political hack wants to take “legislative action”???? Is it now a punishable offense not to support the official position being advanced through mass televised propaganda?
Lowe’s needs to tell Torrance to go pound sand. And this makes me much more favorably disposed towards Lowe’s.

Get some 100 watt incandescent... about to be phased out on 1/1/2012.

Sorry, the hack’s name isn’t Torrance, but Lieu. Rather, he’s from Torrance.

Common error; remember Vito Andolini from Corleone?

I hope the idiot does it.
It will call attention to their action, and will probably increase their business substantially.

Thanks SmithL.
...after the home improvement chain pulled its advertising from a reality show about Muslim-Americans.
This joker (Demagogic Party, of course) thinks there are no consequences to his stupid grandstanding, may he find out otherwise.
