If that’s the case, then ultimately this won’t be such a big deal. If this gets on the ballot, then if the people want him to stay, he’ll stay, and if they want him to go, he’ll go.

I guess ol’ “Fighting Bob” La Follette, Sr., wasn’t what he was cracked up to be by the WI liberal inteligentsia??

History has proven time and again that determined men and women, fighting for their freedom from overbearing, totalitarian governments can and will prevail.

I hope so; but we are talking about the people of WI here.

LaFollette has been Secy of State since long before Soros began his campaign to fundamentally transform the U.S.A., but I have no doubt that LaF is wholly in accord with the aims of Soros.
I left Wisconsin in 1987, and I’m quite certain that LaF had been Sec State for a number of years at that time.

Actually, I’m extrapolating it to the whole country.

There’s a LOT of pissed off people here in the country, brother. People that still remember what it used to be like, when you could do what you wanted to do with your own money, your own land, your own family.

There’s still enough people that want that back. More people than we realize; they’re just quieter about it.

We’re the vocal ones out here.

The left knows their time is short. They’re desperate and are doing stupid things to screw themselves over, wrecking their little conspiracy and tipping their hands to people still not quite sure of what’s happening.

Have faith, Tedster...there’s still Americans out here.

Folks in WI better get with the program or your guy will get recalled... it just happened here in Arizona with the author of the SB 1070 (illegal immigration) bill because people thought it was too ridiculous to succeed. They will cheat and stop at NOTHING to remove our most effective people.

You can't see the actual text of the petition without registering your address and email with the recall site.

I wanted to see if the petition has any language regarding false statements, names, etc.

Do petitions usually have language to the effect that by signing the petition you certify that your name and address are correct and that you are a resident of the jurisdiction?

Democrats know better than anyone how to destroy a republic.

Frankly, I kind of hope they succeed in forcing a recall - and that Walker wins in a landslide.

No idea. While I've been asked by the union steward in an e-mail to sign, I have not been asked in person. Which is amazing. The woman across the street from us has "Recall Walker" signs in her yard. And I work for the state government.

This story is a bit misleading. The GAB won’t automatically strike these bad signatures, but the GOP can still officially challenge them and they will almost certainly be removed after the challenge.

It just sets a baseline for automatic disqualification.

Good conservatives and FReepers need to get their video cameras humming around these 'signature' gatherers.

Just a few weeks ago, footage of a volunteer getting CHILDREN to sign the recall petition was taken.

“So I could just pick a street, any street, and sign the petition with any name I wanted to as many times as I wanted to using the addresses on that street and it would be valid?”

Yup. But having people have photo id’s to prove they are who they say they are when voting is racist and a threat to democracy, dontcha know.
