Yesterday the Occupy Wall Street Protesters, shut down Ports in the Oakland, CA area, Portland, OR and Washington State. The Union workers were sent home with no pay. How does that grab ya? The protest punks you've been supporting, Union dudes, just cut into your Christmas money. I hope you, your President Barack Hussein Obozo and the Dems who support them are happy. You friggin' meat-heads.

Actually, some of the Longshoremen in Longview, WA, were paid per Dan Coffman, who is president of the ILWU Local 21 in Longview. The Pacific Maritime Association, representing shippers, agreed to pay some workers for a few hours even though the Longshoremen didn’t work.
In the olden days, the union members would have went to the union hall and been issued axe handles to alleviate the problem.

Union rank and file have receieved The Word From On High: the occupiers are fellow travelers, and are not to be harmed.
Now if it were up to me, zip-tie them and throw them off the pier.
Don’t worry, the union thugs WILL be paid for working -— otherwise, THEY will shut down the ports.
The OWS demonstrators had to be bused inso Longview from the Vancouver/Portland area. The Longshorement Local aren’t particularly enthused by the demonstrators though some do support them.
The majority of folks in Longview see the demonstrators as bad for business and bad for jobs.

Just in time for the holidays. That’s less money that will be spent on Christmas shopping in Oakland. Commie liberals are dumber than ****.
We have 25% unemployment in Cowlitz County, where Longview, WA, is located. The Port of Longview has been making great efforts to bring new businesses into the port, and this complicates things enormously.
You know the old saying, all politics are local? Here, our politics is mostly about jobs. The ILWU local is being pressured by out of state union bosses, and most of the longshoremen may be Democrats but they’re not communists or traitors to their country or fellow citizens.
Meanwhile there is a big container port in Mexico. The traffic will be diverted if there is a shutdown and business will go on except for the wackos who shut the port be they union or hippie
I’m surprised there were no heads cracked by the port workers
