WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican political figure and tea-party favorite Christine O’Donnell says she’s backing Mitt Romney’s presidential bid.
O’Donnell cites executive experience as part of her reason for endorsing Romney. She announced her decision Tuesday night during an interview on Fox News Channel.

Maybe she is nuts like they said?
You endorse Romney and you ain’t Tea Party.
O’Donnell earned the right to proudly support anyone the heck she so chooses.
I’ve watched her insulted so ruthlessly, so many times right here on this forum, I’ll support whatever decision she makes.
Shame on how she’s been treated here.
maybe she is a witch :)
I thought they meant ‘Rosie’ and did not find it unbelievable.
Get it back from Karl Rove.
He cost us the Senate.
He may have driven Palin from the race. The man is scum.
ODonnell cites executive experience as part of her reason for endorsing Romney. She just wants in on the payola that Willard Mitt Romney spreads around like scented lotion at a swinger's club. Jennifer Rubin, Peter Wehner, and many of the writers at the National Review are slippery with the stuff.
Yep. That little stunt alones earns her the title “Ex-Tea Party” in my book. Must have been a transfer of cash somewhere, or some kind of debt to pay off. She’s gone beltway establishment. Sad to see. Well, we see how a lot of conservatives turned out in D.C. Lugar, Hatch, Graham, etc. etc. I guess sending her there might not have been that bright of an idea afterall.
...kinda crazy with a spooky little girl like her...
Dude, in the space of maybe 24 hours you’ve went from falsely accusing me of supporting Romney to making excuses for someone who does. What’s up with that?
Shouldn’t you be importing something?
Not my favorite...
I know that song! But forgot who sang it.....:(
I’ll answer that question when you answer mine. LOL
If I’m not mistaken, last time we went round, was the first time we ever agreed on anything.
Glad to see it was an exception.
You are mistaken, as always. Par for the course.
Dang...was on the tip of my tongue! (not really). Thanks F-15! BTW I love ARS!
Yes, she was attacked — by the same establishment people pushing Romney on us. She is helping the people who hurt her by lending credibility the their chosen one.
She has that right, anyway.
Similarly, I reserve the same right for myself, as do many folks here.
I agree that Conservative Politics has been a meatgrinder this time around, and that even here, the blades are sharpened with amazing regularity, but supporting Mitt isn't the way to make points with any TEA party people I know.
What the heck has scum ever done to you to deserve that comparison?
Guess she isn’t tea party anymore.
Maybe she is nuts like they said?
I think you are correct.
Tea Party favorite?
Not if she’s endorsing Romney.
So does everyone who supported O’Donnell get zotted now?
If Romney attended a few Tea Party rallies and expressed a bit of passion for conservative ideals he could have been the undisputed front runner by now. He thought he could waddle undisturbed in the mushy middle and skate to victory. Sorry Christine O’Donnell we TP’ers don’t like getting snubbed by the GOP elitists.
I'm almost afraid to ask but I'm curious as to the hypothesized mechanism of how Rove "cost us the Senate" and "drove Palin from the race."
I can’t see why they should. I’m just trying to wrap my mind around being accused of support for Romney, by an enabler of the same.
yeah Just...well it happened during the live Hannity.
I don’t agree with her endorsement, but I’ve been so profoundly offended and disappointed by how just plain nastily Ms. O’Donnell was treated on this board, I’ll stand up for her even endorsing Romney.
Even now, only the word “vitriol” begins to describe it.
Ms. O’Donnell I’m here on your behalf to tell you, you might as well not vote.
Because my vote, cancels yours. :D
Still admire you though.
I remember O Donnell was portrayed as a Tea party darling on this very site.
Rove was instrumental in defeating O’Donnell.
O’Donnell. The Republican in that race.
Handing the Senate to Democrats.
Did you forget already? And why in the world are you schmoozing with Rove the scumbag?
Explain that for readers.
And Rove was (nearly) as nasty toward Palin. I have no idea why Rove is known as a Republican, all I’ve ever seen him do is screw things up for the GOP.
She was a Palin favorite.
Well how else would you expect a stupid ditz to be treated? With praise?
Great! I;m sure she took the time to outline her positives and negatives of her choice. Can’t we all just get along folks...?
Well that demonstrated my point effectively, anyway.
We didn’t want a popular, enthusiasm generating Republican to ruin the Democrats’ veto preventing Senate majority while Obama was signing crappy laws, after all.
Yes, she is. A lot of people figured that out quickly but voted for her over Castle anyway because they were sick of being stuck with a liberal.
She is a fool.....
This thread sounds like DU.
I wonder how many people really remember that song.
Besides what CNN mentioned, Rove has been shilling for Romney in a roundabout way on Fox News. He’s a part of that group that is pushing the idea that Willard is the one who can beat Obama.
Well, so much for looking at her any longer.Just stupid or bought and paid for.
She jumped the shark as soon as she was nominated. She was an absolutely awful candidate with a record of lawsuit abuse.
Not one to (every, pretty much) play any sort of “card”.
However. It’s hard watching the way O’Donnell is treated, not to wonder if there is actually sexism behind some of it.
Just saying. Very nasty. And sure as heck not a winning strategy.
