This clip from the end of the entire 60 Minutes Obama interview didn't make it on air.

I have a new definition for professionalism in journalism:

Kroft managed to keep a poker face while hearing that dribble.

Any one else would have been incredulous and challenged the remark.

He’ll need to be institutionalized after the next elections.

He will console himself repeating that after he’s voted out of office. He will be every bit the sore loser Carter was. Before Carter, no ex-POTUS ever criticized the sitting POTUS. Bitterness is an ugly thing.

Just do a little reshaping of the Washington Monument.

Be a lot quicker and a whole lot cheaper since it's already 90% there.

“behind FDR, but didn’t want to sound egotistical, so he threw in Lincoln and LBJ”

FDR, King Lincoln, and LBJ.

Now, there’s some company for you.

Few great men ever worried about their place in history. They worried about achieving goals and are viewed as great for what they accomplished.

Obama will be a significant president, but mostly for the wrong reasons.

He shows his ignorance of US history. Lincoln’s foreign policy achievements? He did manage to keep the Brits and the French from recognizing the Confederacy, but he couldn’t prevent Napoleon III from conquering Mexico. For foreign policy, he’s way behind Truman, Nixon, Reagan, Bush-41 and Bush-43. What were LBJ’s great foreign policy achievements? The intervention in the Dominican Republic?

Interesting that CBS chose not to put that little gem on the air.
