The wife of former U.S. Border Patrol agent Jesus Diaz, who was jailed over his treatment of a drug smuggler, says she's outraged that the government has told her husband he won't be allowed to return home to be with her or associate with any other law enforcement-linked member of his family while on probation.
"I have to ask what does the DOJ want me to do? I can't retire, I'm too young. Divorcing him is not an option as he would still have to come around for the children. What is Chito going to do about his brother, not see him for the next five years? He carries a gun," Diana Diaz, said in a statement released today through the Law Enforcement Officers Advocates Council, which has become an advocate for the officer in issues outside the courtroom.

Like I said, this kind of thing happens every day, just not to people you may idolize or want to have a beer with. When you wake up to the fact that the “justice” system is broken for EVERYONE, you will understand what I am saying. The Feds are not going bonkers on this border agent, they are going bonkers on anyone unlucky enough to be put through their meat grinder.
It doesn't matter if a Republican or Democrat is running the show, its all the same when it comes to this business. I don't blame you, and others, for not understanding because it hasn't been advertised as much as it is now.
What did you think when indefinite detention without trial was implemented? How about summary execution of US citizens by executive order? I don't think you cared too much about it because it was only the muzzies. “First they came for the gypsies, and I did nothing, then they came for the Jews, and I did nothing, then they came....etc.” Remember that? Now it's people just like you, or that Border Patrol guy, or will be soon. Eventually you will have to do something about it other than make stupid little comments about cat food.
BTW: I have been a “people who defend our country” for many decades. I just think the Constitution I swore to defend when I was a teenager, and everytime I was promoted since then, should start being the law of the land again. You?
