First grade in 1963 we had morning pledge and prayer. Once a month we had an assembly where a preacher came in to talk to the kids. None of this was compulsory nor was 4-H which even had devotion. My principal in grade school was a Minister of music in his church. My high school principal was a preacher. This was all in public school. After the end of the school year the principal was bust doing weddings for many of his senior class the previous year. The principals were respected by students.

Schools of today thanks to ones like Madalyn Murray and later Barry Lynn {I refuse to call him reverend} made certain GOD was not mentioned in any public venue including schools. Schools have become infested with teachings of homosexuality without parents knowledge and day camps for compliance to the will of the government. In short they are what the likes of Herbert Marcuse and others set out to make them which is Marxist Training Centers.

We banned prayer from schools. We now see blood spilled where a kid with no moral values opens fire on classmates and teachers. We have teachers void of any morality who seduce their students into sex acts.

We banned GOD from our government. We now openly have the most morally corrupt leaders in our nations history in office this minute. It is not by chance that our nations economical fall was lead by a blatant homosexual from the state which the first shots of freedom were fired. Even the most Deist of the Founding Fathers understood and embraced the fact that national morality depended upon the nations people and leaders embracing Judeo/Christian values and morality.

I hate to say it and hate for it too have too happen this way. But the only way I see this nation turning back to GOD at this point is when practice of Jewish and Christian faith becomes outlawed. I say it based on Biblical history. Forbid it and the people will seek it out. Exile a nation from GOD so they will turn back. We can't say as a nation we weren't warned. Choices were made.

Except the united States is not a nation of people who are genetic descendants of a man who God chose and made an eternal Covenant. If anything, we are the exact opposite.

Before there is any "exile" there was always a prophet sent by God to speak for Him. In the OT economy, something we left with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the Spirit now coming to people of every nation and tribe, the type of Christ and the doctrine of Redemption was established in the Covenant with Abraham. With the reality of the Cross and the full Revelation of Christ, there is no need for types and shadows - as you propose.

If you absolutely insists on destroying Grace, and transmogrifying the Creator into a day-by-day, act-by-act Zeus-like God who randomly hurls bolts of lighting down rather than the God who has said that He will Judge on The Last Day, then take solace in Leviticus 18:28.

If you want to continue to hate America and wish death and destruction on Americans because you project your impatience and intolerance on God and insist that He is your personal hit-man, then perhaps you would be more interested in an accommodating religion like Islam.

For 11th and 12th grade I too attended a similar secular ( godless) government school. ( 62-63 and 63-64). Your school and mine were merely giving an occasional nod to God. The lesson taught was that it was Ok to think and reason godlessly for 95% of the government school experience and then occasionally acknowledge God.

What the godless government schools were offering us was **lukewarm** and **generic** Christianity. What does Christ do with the lukewarm? Answer: He spits them out of His mouth!

There was a hugebig difference between my secular government school and that of my Catholic school. In Catholic school of the 50s and 60s our Christian religion was thoroughly and completely integrated into every minute of every school day. Absolutely **everything*** passed through the filter of a God-centered worldview and specifically our religion.

So?....What about the principal of your school who was a local minister. How many inexperienced parents did he fool? How many parents thought, "Well, nice Mr. Minister is teaching at the godlessly secular and socialist government school. It can't be **that** bad?"

Modern government schooling since its inception has never been more than lukewarm and generically Protestant in its religious worldview. By my grandmother's day ( born 1894) it was godlessly secular and merely glanced at God on occasion. Secularists have **always** controlled curriculum development and teacher training. The push has **always** been toward more and more godless secularization.

Modern government schooling was a corrupt idea from its inception in the mid-1800s. Modern government owned and run schools were a First Amendment and freedom of conscience abomination from the first day. Government schools have **always** been socialist. The push has **always** been toward greater and greater secularization.

Solution: We must begin the process of shutting down all government schooling. We must move toward complete separation of school and state.

One more thing: I am **done** with government teachers. They are either too evil or too stupid to be a friend. I think conservatives and Christians who work in the government schools are like Nazi prison guards who think throwing a few extra crumbs to the prisoners would be good thing. What's needed is a complete rescue of the children. Christians and conservatives working in godless government schools are Useful Idiots. That's my opinion. Personally, government school teachers are off my friend list.

I don't know why other conservatives don't share my alarm and urgency. One more generation of citizens indoctrinated in our nation's socialist system of schools ( completely godless) and our slide into tyranny will be complete. As for government teachers?....Well, the road to hell is paved by hard working Useful Idiots and their evil masters.
