How would you like your child to walk in upon an adult bear in the basement or yard??

While black bears are not usually as aggressive as grizzlies or polar bears, they can certainly be plenty lethal when surprised or feeling disturbed.

New Jersey is overrun with bears in some areas, yet the annual hunt is highly controversial with various enviro-whackos and animal "rights" groups.

Simple. Convene an animal rights meeting, inside that very basement. Have them all enter at once, and then bar the door.

Hey, quite complaining. You’ve got a free bear rug for the winter.

Just don’t try to clean it in the Spring.

Did the bear have a gun?

Some people are fanatical about the right to keep and arm bears.

Well, arming bears *is* an uninfringeable Constitutional right!

(And didn’t we discuss this in another thread?)

;-)

Usually the cable guy just risks getting jumped by a cougar.

Now that you mention it...

Well, the importance of armed bears cannot be understated whether you're for it or against it. ;^)
