Zero Tolerance For Illegals Is Required For Real Leaders
Ajnin's mind | December 17, 2011 | Ajnin

Posted on 12/17/2011 2:02:41 PM PST by Ajnin

"Boots on the ground", UAV’s, virtual fences, “troops on the border” or “securing the border first", like “comprehensive immigration reform” are all just euphemisms for amnesty.

If a politician or presidential candidate is serious about securing our border and reducing illegal immigration they should be talking about zero tolerance for illegal immigration.

There shouldn’t be any public or private funding of illegal aliens, this includes scholarships. Illegal aliens should be prohibited from attending public school. They should not be given birthright citizenship. There shouldn’t be any sanctuary cities or communities and there should never every be any kind of path to citizenship for any illegal alien. Any politician that espouses anything different is not serious about dealing with immigration and border security.

The solution to the problem of illegal immigration is very easy. You find them all and you deport them.

Why should there be tolerance for those who break our laws anyway?

We pride ourselves to live in a country of laws but we hesitate to apply the law to those who invade us.

There is only one Presidential candidate remaining who comes anywhere this philosophy: Michele Bachmann. She gets a B- on immigration issues from NumbersUSA, while the next best is a C-. Perry, Gingrich, & Santorum get D or D-.

“securing the border first”...just euphemisms for amnesty.”

Bullshit. You don’t make that #1 priority, the rest is bullshit. Simple.

A border control strategy must be responsive to the unique threats that exist at different parts of the frontier. This strategy must include round-the-clock drone flights to monitor activity, multi-layer, strategic fencing in urban areas, and vastly improved communication between state and federal authorities.

Job one.

The solution to the problem of illegal immigration is very easy. You find them all and you deport them.

That is the first step, then secure the border, 6 month detention for anyone caught crossing the border illegally. End all handouts to illegals.

Problem solved.

Like “police” are a synonym for amnesty towards crime?

Why not REAL fences AND virtual fences?..
And fortified areas(camps) in the most obvious insurgent places..

With proximity watched zones.. and Ariel surveillance..
Coast Guard submarines may not be a bad idea.. not nukes but diesel..

The only path to a permanent resident and citizen status should be via entering the country legally with proper visa. All others should be deported. Period.
If we don’t do this we will become a third world country..with the rich in their gated communities with maids, gardeners and security and no middle class. We already are starting to share many characteristics of IIIW.

Well said IMHO. Also, securing the border isn’t just about illegals. It is about al qaeda et al. That trumps all, again IMHO.

So what about the kid brought over at 2 years old who knows nothing else but America and is now a productive adult member of society?

Still a minor? Well, then when the parents get deported they take their kid.

Been a criminal or a leach on the taxpayer? Outa here.

Anchor babies? That’s got to end.

But sorry, I can’t go along with punishing a kid for the sins of the parents, even if that “rewards” the parents in some existential way. Green card them, again only if they have not become a criminal or leach. By being productive, they have paid their dues sufficiently to counter being brought here illegally through no fault of their own.

As for the parents? Deport them.

And secure the dang border!!!

If we allowed immediate deportation for illegals, required employers to use e-Verify, and start closing down the employment opportunities for illegals, then we might get a handle on this problem.

A fence on the border only stops some illegal entry. It doesn't stop visa overstays and people already in the country. There will still be people making it in over the border as long as there is a good chance for employment in the U.S.

Bullshit. You don’t make that #1 priority, the rest is bullshit. Simple.

Maybe I didn't make my point clear enough. Polticians are going to shine you on all day telling you the kind of things that you want to hear. They will tell you they want to secure the border first and then in the same breath tell you that we have to give illegal aliens a path to citizenship.

This strategy must include round-the-clock drone flights to monitor activity, multi-layer, strategic fencing in urban areas, and vastly improved communication between state and federal authorities.

You can have all the responsive and unique strategies, UAV's, mutli layers of this and multi layers of that you want. It won't make any difference if politicians want to give illegal aliens amnesty. All the goodies are great to have and with the LE goodies that we have, the border should already be shut down tighter than a frog's ass. But that hasn't happened because nobody has the will. The fact is the only thing needed is a will to do something. And this admininstration does not have the will.

In 1954 fewer than a thousand Border Patrol Agents apprehended just over one million illegal aliens. That is a thousand apprehension per agent. Last fiscal year, with 20,000 agents the Border Patrol apprehended a paltry 300,000 aliens. An abysmal 15 apprehensions per agent. How did one thousand agents do nearly one hundred times the work of 20,000 agents minus UAV's, fences, responsive and unique strategies?

Any leader American’s vote in should follow the example of Australia’s Prime Minster. She deals with muslims and those not wishing to conform to Australia’s ways, the way it should be dealt with. Conform to our ways or don’t let the door hit you in the a s s on your way out.

“In 1954 fewer than a thousand Border Patrol Agents apprehended just over one million illegal aliens.”

That’s a partial score...how many were trying to get in?
