Ann Coulter: I Would Prefer Ron Paul Over Newt Gingrich

Appearing on Fox News Channel’s “Red Eye” last night, conservative firebrand and frequent courter of controversy, Ann Coulter told the panel that if the choice for the Republican presidential nominee came down to Texas Rep. Ron Paul or former House Speaker Newt Gingrich she would prefer Paul.

She stops short of suggesting that she would vote for Paul in a third party bid as conservative radio host Glenn Beck recently suggested, but Coulter has serious reservations (like most editorial board GOPers) about Gingrich’s big government conservatism.

While Coulter curries much favor among the Tea Party Republican set, not all who are inclined to agree with her combative Republicanism agree with her.

Popular conservative columnist Joshua Treviño took to Twitter to echo the sentiments of many in the Republican establishment when he colorfully expressed his reservations about Paul’s untraditional foreign policy perspectives.

I am with you. What has she accomplished in her life that makes her someone I would take advise off of? She produces books. She is a political pundit that is attractive and used to be conservative. I take her opinion no more than Paris Hilton.

Coulter’s popularity AND income is tanking big time. She has repeatedly bitten the only hand that feeds her. So now she thinks she is so clever to shock her way back into the fold of legitimate commentary to sell her crappy books.

She has become even more nutty than RUN Paul and Glenn (ECHH!) Beck.

This about sums up what happened to her. She has become a a lib thru injection.

Andrew Stein (born Andrew J. Finkelstein March 4, 1945) was a Democratic politician who served on the New York City Council and was its last President, and as Manhattan Borough President. Stein’s father is Jerry Finkelstein, the retired multi-millionaire publisher of the New York Law Journal, among other publications. Andrew Stein shortened his name when he entered politics.

She hit on Newt and he rejected her. Seriously, she’s behaving as a woman scorned right now.

Ann has lost all credibility when it comes to speaking for Conservatives. She and Ron Paul are both kooks.

Yep...I don’t listen to her at all and haven’t for some time now. She’s played her cards and they aren’t in my game.

It is REALLY time to ban Ann Coulter posts from Free Republic. IF she was, she might grow a brain and stop saying such stupid things.

Whatever, she is going from being a mere whore to an insane one.

Youre right, and Rush said the same thing. Newt scares these people because he is conservative.

I’d like to know if the nom goes to Newt if she’ll vote for him or for Obama. That’s the question to ask her.

I’ve always loved her works and her combativeness, her willingness to be the bomb thrower to answer those on the left, and the fact that she was more often than not exactly right.

But it seems that the more people who come out in support of Romney, like Ann Coulter, the more he tracks to the left.

I just wonder where she, and others, will draw the line.

Let me also say that there is more she said which was out of line. They asked her what “zany” means talking about the attack ads on Newt. She said “It is a nice way of saying he is crazy. You do know Newt is crazy, don’t you?” (Mark Levin said there is a concerted effort out there to paint Newt as crazy and it is very sad.) She furthermore said she and Beck are taking heat for supporting Ron Paul over Newt. Gee...I wonder why? I happened to be up late that night and caught the show. What a shame.

It’s clear she’s a fake. She’s always had liberal friends like Bill Maher and Andrew Stein. Actions speak louder than words. It’s obvious that she uses conservative politics for her own benefit rather than because she truly believes in conservatism.

Maybe because some single male conservatives find her attractive??

She was always a phony, IMO. She’s even admitted to have dated a Muslim, in addition to all her other liberal BFs.
