There is always some politically-correct, liberal democrat who has to spoil all the fun. I know Hindus and Muslims who celebrate Christmas for their children, they buy a tree and lights and put presents under the tree for their children to enjoy and share with their friends when they return to school at the new year. BTW, Christmas is an official US federal holiday for ALL Americans to celebrate and enjoy, don't forget to fly your flag on Christmas.

Liberals have an arrogance so thick and heavy its a burdon on the whole of society. A JEWISH parent is complaining that a SECULAR costumed man is promoting a childhood SECULAR tradition. Oh my word...how aweful...the school should pay that family (read scummy lying hate-filled liberal woman) money!

Sarcasm off.

“Christmas is an official US federal holiday for ALL Americans”

You need to stop saying this out loud or they will vote THAT away too.

I don’t see why they would be upset about a Secular symbol like Santa.

Reminds me of Kyle's mom. and we all know what she was

Actually, one of the better South Park's. Early SP, but shows when you take everything out of Christmas that might possible offend someone, you have nothing left!

It’s not for all Americans. We Jews are forbidden to celebrate Christmas as it is a Christian holiday, even if it has become secularized.

The death of our culture & way of life; there is nothing “Christian” about Santa Claus. St. Nicholas is one thing; Santa Claus has become an American distortion of that, used to market toys.

South Park - A Lonely Jew on Christmas

It’s hard to be a Jew on Christmas.
My friends won’t let me join in any games.
And I can’t sing Christmas songs or decorate a Christmas tree
Or leave water out for Rudolph, cause there’s something wrong with me.
My people don’t believe in Jesus Christ divinity..
I’m a Jew, a lonely Jew, on Christmas.

Hannukah is nice, but why is it
That Santa passes over my house every year.
And instead of eating ham I have to eat kosher latki
Instead of Silent Night I’m singing “Hu, haghtol gavish”
And what the f*ck is up with lighting all these f*cking candles tell me please..
I’m a Jew, a lonely Jew,
I’d me merry, but I’m Hebrew
On Christmas.

I remember seeing that one. A bunch of kids standing on stage dressed in gray singing “Happy Happy Happy” in a monotone.

I still think some liberal would be offended by the word “happy” because it suggests, well, happiness. When you cut through it all, liberals hate happiness, joy, individual success and all that is bright and beautiful. Years ago that would be an exaggeration, but now I really believe it. They are so miserable that they cannot stand seeing the joy of others and are driven to stomp on it.

Again this year, in my *very* Jewish co-op on the East Side of Manhattan, the Jewish mommies lovingly decorated our lobby CHRISTMAS TREE...and placed gifts for local charities around the base. Kids played dreidel in its shadow, and everyone was happy.

Did the school do the right thing? Of course not. But it does illustrate precisely why we need to abolish all public schools along with the taxes they consume and pay for our children’s unfettered, unpoliticized, American education.

“and a kinara to represent Kwanzaa.”

Which no student of any ethnicity or faith recognized, because nobody in the real world celebrates Kwanzaa.

Notice, btw, the school failed to make any effort to recognize Festivus.

I’m adding that to my list for the Airing of Grievances this year.

Rabbi Moshe Schapiro of Chabad Lubavitch of Hoboken said they should teach children other cultures as well. “If there are Jewish children in the class why not include their tradition, their faith, and their holiday?” Rabbi Schapiro said. >>>>

the Rabbi should know better, most school districts, especially those in NY and NJ DO teach about the various holidays in the classroom as part of their social studies curriculum, children from kindergarten on do projects about them, color pictures and sing various songs about those holidays. The pictures with Santa were optional, not forced on the children and no pictures would have been taken for those children who didn't have a signed permission slip. Jewish and non Christian children are not forced to pose with Santa and some non-Christians like some Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists do pose with Santa.

So I trust that in your own private home, someone has a gun to your head forcing you to “celebrate” Christmas??

Yes, it is a holiday for ALL meaning schools are closed, people are off work, no banking, Wall St trading, or mail service. Give me a break.
