Exactly.

A 3rd Party run by BOTH Trump and Ron Paul would all but guarantee Obama’s re-election. At that point, Obama can get re-elected even if he’s seen shooting puppies and roasting babies while freebasing on live prime-time TV. He already has, at minimum, 40% of the electorate sewn up.

Why not Schumer -Palin? How about Pelosi-West? Or maybe Emmanuel - DeMint?

Or do you even have the foggiest notion what I’m talking about?

You have no idea how wrong you are.

Many have and are. The republican party will soon be left in the cold.

Trump threads always reveal the freepers who have a really flexible definition of conservative.

Try to find the difference between a typical democrat's definition of “Pro-Choice” and the Donald's definition of “Pro-Life”. Both believe ultimately its up to the woman.

The man has no conservative track record, yet there are people here who swoon when he says "words". He doesn't actually have to do anything conservative...he just says things. Unbelievable.

Trump brought up the eligibility issue and the hatred that he got tells me that he is no leftist. Too many people are listening to the Paul-tards. They are spreading the leftist rumors about Trump, because they see him as a danger to a Paul Ind. run . Maybe that is what Trump is looking at too? Eliminating the Ron Paul factor for Romney?

Yes I have sworn to uphold and defend the United States in the Marines.

The Republican party will not downsize government. They believe in big government too. They just don't want to grow it as fast as the the Democrats. I'm sorry but that is the Republican party of 2011. It's why you see the rise of the Tea Party.

Our country is broke and our Economy will not survive. We will not have a country if we keep doing the same thing over n over again and expect a different result. THAT my friend is the definition of insanity. Romney and Newt are that definition. Besides Both Romney and Newt are unelectable too. Romney does not appeal to conservative voters and Newt does not appeal to Independents. Both candidates will lose to Obama in 2012.

The Republican party is a joke and NOT an opposition power. They are only interested in what the Media and Press think. They do not care about what their voters think. The are a Trojan Horse to any conservative.

I would take a gamble on Trump over Newt or Romney any day. Newt and Romney are nothing but the establishment candidates that will keep in place the Crony Capitalism our Republic has turned into.

Call me crazy but I hope he seriously does run for POTUS for the simple fact that the guy has nuts the size of the moon, unlike any of the other fools posing as Republicans today, with the exception of maybe Peter King. I am SO so so so soooooo sick to death of the elitist/liberal arse kissing that goes on in Washington and to me Newt is going to be no different. That guy will say or do anything to get elected then kiss arse to pad his pockets. He is Bill Clinton Republican style. I don’t like Romney and I don’t like Newt. Since Palin ain’t running and Herman Cain imploded I would welcome Trump, but I highly doubt he is serious about it.

Did I get you upset because you know in your heart that ticket would get more votes than the Republican nominee?

I would never vote for Romney or Gingrich. They most likely would never win, and would have the potential to take the country further to the left than Obama, because they are Republican.

But Trump doesn't even know what conservatism is. He will just do what he's told.

Not at all. I was not upset. I was amused at your political retardation that you were gladly parading around as some kind of great insight.

And of course, your response proves that you did indeed miss my humor at your expense. I suspect most Freepers got it and had a nice laugh at your expense.

So no, not upset at all.

You’re right about the GOP but wrong about Trump. He’s a lifelong, big-government Manhattan liberal who has undoubtedly been put up to his new posture over the past year by David Axelrod and his Chicago crew. He’ll likely get a valuable casino concession in IL or elsewhere. It’s the exact same way he got Deval Patrick re-elected as guv in MA—running a ‘converted’ lifelong Dem in some ways to the right of the GOP candidate.

Should Trump run as a third party candidate he would draw off Democrats who don’t want to votefor Obama but would not vote Republican under any cicumstances.

What could he do to generate enthusiasm after his last stunt? Right that’s what I thought.
