Inviting Espionage: The administration is considering reviving a '90s-era nuclear scientist exchange program with China. Does no one in the White House remember how much damage the previous arrangement caused?
Of the many regrettable initiatives dreamed up by the Clinton administration, few were as perverse as the nuclear scientist exchange program. The arrangement turned out to be a gift to the Chinese, who were able to steal U.S. nuclear secrets virtually in plain sight.
Either unable or unwilling to learn from the past, the Obama administration wants to bring the program back. The Washington Times reports that "Deputy Energy Secretary Daniel B. Poneman is working on a major Obama administration initiative that would renew scientist exchanges between U.S. nuclear weapons laboratories and Chinese nuclear facilities."
The 1990s version of the exchanges yielded unprecedented espionage. How bad was it? An internal lab document obtained and reported by IBD in 1999 indicated that "during the Clinton administration, the number of Chinese nationals working" at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico had "catapulted 411%."
We're not saying every Chinese worker at the lab was a spy. But Congress found at least 13 suspected spies gained lab access without proper CIA or FBI vetting. Why open U.S. labs to scientists from a nation that had already been stealing our nuclear secrets for decades?

Incorrect on both counts. They are able and willing to learn from the past. They saw how much damage it did and want to repeat the damage.
No. Moreover, if Obama doesn’t win again, he may well see to it a nuke blows on shore in US. That’ll teach us a lesson, just like last time we were attacked on shore / sardonic. If there is any truth to the “truthers” it’s more likely the Demoncrats allowed it.

It seemed clear that the Clintons got campaign money from the Chinese in exchange for satellite/missile intel (LORAL et al). What has been the source of The Won’s $1B+ warchest? Since it is hidden from FEC scrutiny (no public funds and exempt from audit), we’ll never know if secrets were sold for campaign contributions a la the 1st black President.
They obviously don’t understand that we must destroy this country at all costs and if Obama can’t get re-elected, well then this will make sure the country goes down regardless of who is President. Got it.

Money flowing from an offshore source to a offshore bank is untraceable to onshow law enforcement. Can you just imagine all the creative ways that foreign aid money can be skimmed off the time and "laundered"?
I think they already have the secrets, they just want some experienced scientists and engineers to help on the applications.
