Ron Paul accused US Troops of War Crimes in Desert Storm (1991)
Ron Paul Political Report (Transcribed) | October 15 1991 | Ron Paul

Posted on 12/23/2011 6:47:34 PM PST by mnehring

From The Ron Paul Political Report, October 15 1991

American Values?

During the Iraq war, American troops were instructed to use specially equipped tanks to bulldoze the trenches that held Iraqi soldiers- Not a single American was hurt, so meager was the resistance. Thousands of Iraqis, teenagers coerced into the army by the dictator Hussein, were buried alive, while the unprecedented military tactic was hidden from the public through media censorship. Captain Benny Williams, who Led the charge was awarded the Silver Star for his role. Also hidden: the apparent fact that many of the rag-tag teenage soldiers were trying to surrender as they were entombed.

And that Rockefeller wing flies out of the internationalists such as Soros to Rothchilds and a multitude of international organizations that do not want an exceptional USA at this time.

So, who are you voting for?

I'm voting for Paul.

A vote for Gingrich, Perry or Romney, is a vote for Obama.

The Elite Republican plan of action for Ron Paul Convince everyone Ron Paul is a crazy, racist, senile old man. All his supporters are dirty hippies that are all on drugs and are anti-Semite wackos.

Sorry, It's Ron Paul's own imbecile actions that paint him as crazy.

He really doesn't need any help from the "Elite Republicans".

The RINO attack machine destroys all candidates who threaten Romney.

Ron Paul isn't a threat to anyone.

He was never going to even get close to being the Nominee.

Step away from the Bong!

The threat to Romney is based on polling data in Iowa showing him up around 20 percent along with Newt and Romney.

That puts Paul in the first tier.

“Paulbots” are known to be solid and loyal in polls while other candidates don’t have that solid level of support.

This is a volatile and fluid situation as many voters will make a last minute decision to support someone or could be swayed to change support at the last minute.

My analysis of the situation is serious, sober and drug-free.

Not to mention cooking them with flamethrowers.

If they’re willing to fight to the death, so be it.

The Bulldozer assault

Another incident during the war highlighted the question of large-scale Iraqi combat deaths. This was the “bulldozer assault”, wherein two brigades from the 1st Infantry Division (Mechanized) used anti-mine plows mounted on tanks and combat earthmovers to bury Iraqi soldiers defending the fortified "Saddam Line." One newspaper story reported that the U.S. commanders estimated thousands of Iraqi soldiers surrendered, escaping burial during the two-day assault February 24-25, 1991. However, like all other troop estimates made during the war, the estimated 8,000 Iraqi defenders was probably greatly inflated. After the war, the Iraqi government claimed to have found 44 such bodies.

At 8 a.m., Feb. 28, 1991, the war was over when a cease-fire was called. The Big Red One had fought through 260 kilometers of enemy-held territory in 100 hours, destroying 550 enemy tanks, 480 armored, personnel carriers and taking 11,400 prisoners. Eighteen of the Division's soldiers were killed in the war. The Division earned three campaign streamers for its colors: Defense of Saudi Arabia, Liberation and Defense of Kuwait and Cease Fire.

Will his excuse be that Lew Rockwell wrote this for him too ?(the alleged story behind the “racist newsletters” was that they were ghost written by Rockwell and were conceived not out of genuine racism but a cynical effort to sell libertarianism to “rednecks”, that was Rockwell’s motive, Paul’s was probably just profit from selling the subscriptions)

Anyway this is disgusting. Maybe the worst thing I’ve seen come out of Paul. We shouldn’t use our best weapons in the interest of fairness? And when more Americans die because of that, it doesn’t matter? More concerned with the lives of foreign soldiers Ron? That’s something I’d expect to hear from the likes of Cynthia McKinney.

I hope Rand Paul doesn’t share his father’s nuttier views. The crazy old man is not returning to the House. Rand could be in the Senate a long time and may run for the White House in the future.

Show them this.

It’s unfortunate. He’s the best candidate on a lot of issues. And on some he’s worse than Obama.
