AFAIK, comments# 19 & 31 are correct about rat open seats: Akaka (HI), Conrad (ND), Bingaman (NM), Webb (VA), Kohl (WI), Nelson (NE) and Lieberman (I)(CT). Who's missing? The GOP has another open seat, unfaithful idiot John Ensign's from Nevada.

The Nevada seat isn’t open. Dean Heller is running as an incumbent after having been appointed to complete Ensign’s term. Heller was the lone congressman from Nevada, so he’s well known. Most, if not all the pollsters are calling it a Leans Republican. Nevada, and otherwise conservative state, has Las Vegas with it’s union thugocracy as it’s cross to bear. The good news is that Las Vegas’ population is decreasing like a submarine with screen doors and one home in five in foreclosure or behind on the mortgage.
