Bill Maher has run afoul of religious conservatives yet again, after a Christmas Eve tweet the comedian sent about overtly religious Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.
Following a 40-14 Broncos' loss to the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, Maher tweeted, "Wow, Jesus just ... #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere in hell Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler 'Hey, Buffalo's killing them'. (Adult language has been removed from the Tweet.)
Predictably, the dig from the atheist comedian didn't go over well with Christians. Fox Business' "Follow the Money" host Eric Bolling got things rolling with his Twitter response: "Bill Maher is disgusting vile trash. I can't even repeat what he just tweeted about Tebow..on Christmas Eve. #straighttohellBill."
Others have called for a boycott of HBO, which is the home of Maher's show, "Real Time."

I would think that most people who like Tebow don’t watch HBO already.
Just like that idiot that got booted from MSNBC (I truly can’t think of his name), Bill Maher needs to be ignored. He has no talent. He’s all hateful sarcasm and snide and vile remarks.

When will people stop paying attention to Bill Maher? He never says anything worth remembering. Getting upset for anything that sad clown says is exactly what he wants.

Because of this guy I refuse to have HBO on my cable. Whenever I am called and offered a “free six months” of HBO, I say...no way. Don’t want that trash the liberals in Hollywood are pushing.

Some hard core liberals I know think he’s the funniest guy in the world. Then again much of their day to day language is loaded with hate and vitriol so I guess it makes sense.

Yes The average liberal-progressive thinks it is okay to be vile because others get away with it. It must be part of their psyche. I wouldn’t know, but you can read the most vicious things at all left leaning websites like media matters, think progress, daily kos and others.
