CNN Iowa poll: Romney 25, Paul 22, Santorum 16, Gingrich 14

You know who this benefits?

*snip*

So there’s the long-awaited Santorum surge among social cons, who are finally giving him a first look at the perfect moment after flirtations this fall with Bachmann, Perry, Cain, and Gingrich. Two caveats, though, one minor and one major. The minor: PPP’s poll published this morning found Santorum stuck at 10 percent, still behind Gingrich and Bachmann. Are their numbers the outlier or are CNN’s? The major: According to the crosstabs, CNN only polled … registered Republicans in Iowa. That means they’re badly underestimating support for Paul, who’s cleaning up among Democrats and independents who are planning to vote in the caucuses.

Santorum: Pro-life, faithful to wife, conservative.

I’m game.

If it’s between Romney and Paul, I hope Paul wins Iowa. For the first time in my voting life, it looks like I either won’t be voting at all or will be writing in a candidate’s name. What a bummer!

If Gingrich can have a decent showing and manage to win SC and Florida, there’s hope we can beat Obama.

It appears Santorum may become the next Not-Mitt. Hopefully he is not a blip on the radar like Bachmann, Perry, Cain and apparently Gingrich.

The only thing this shows is that Newt Gingrich is falling like a rock, as well he should be. And for those unable to cope with that basic fact, they fall into the delusion that this somehow benefits Romney. It doesn't. However, it does benefit candidates who are actually conservative. Imagine that.

Here's a basic fact.

Santorum has a lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union of 88% conservative. Gingrich has a lifetime rating of 90% conservative.

The Ron Oaul voters have been Outed as
Democrats who took advantage if the weak IA. Primary registration rules and are doing project chaos in IA and NH.
The clowns running the Rnc left these
Crappy primary registrations on place to help
Mitten’s but now its turned been used against them!

WARNING: If a thread does not favor Gingrich ONLY the title will change and the thread may be moved to bloggers.
And don’t start a thread about Bachmann she will be bashed worse than Dummies. It’s politics folks Gingrich has no game in Iowa neither does Palin or Cain GET OVER IT and move on.I thought this was a conservative forum? Palin herself has given Bachmann kudos. Why the catty jealous hate? Why do I not see Go Santorum,Go Perry,Go Bachmann?
Santorum or Perry could still win.Gingrich screwed up in Iowa he thought he had it in the bag.

The poll is probably accurate in terms of Santorum's uptick since he's spending a lot of time in Iowa, visiting all 99 counties. (Oh, but for Kossuth, they'd have 100 of them).

The rest of the poll is nothing but pure leftist trash. It's from CNN, the most untrusted name in news.

Polls are what ever the MSM wants them to be...

Exactly.

MSM wants Mitt. They also want Santorum to take half of the Newt vote. And of course that's what the poll says.

Surely, if he wins Iowa, and then follows up with a big win in Virginia, he'll be on his way!

.. oh wait, can he win in VA?

Does your ACU rating of Gingrich reflect his recent positions on amnesty, insurance mandates, and global warming? Didn’t think so. Santorum doesn’t believe in amnesty, doesn’t consider CO2 to be a pollutant, and definitely is not interested in replacing ObamaCare with GingrichCare. He believes it should be done away with altogether. Obviously, you do not share those views.

Well, I hope he will, but if he doesn’t I already have my sights set on Congress. Mittens, Newt... yech, not a fan of either. Will vote against Zer0 of course, but to prevent our country going down the drain we better fight hard to get the House and the Senate staffed with CONSERVATIVES (not spaghetti-spined RINOs or dim witted Dims).

Actually the numbers haven't changed—the polls get more accurate as voting gets closer cuz the pollsters don't want to be exposed as the lying MSM frauds they are.
Santorum has always been doing better than polls show—he has no vices to reveal so ignoring him is the only thing the RINO establishment and the Left can do.
He's got my South Carolina vote.
