Simple math is: if you or someone you love got butthurt in 2010, expect about 125% the same butthurt this November.

Very well stated. Thank you. The lesser of two evils is still evil. If a Republican candidate wants my vote, then they must share my convictions. And compromising with liberals is not one of my convictions. Santorum is the real deal. He stands for what I believe. And he has earned my support.

If Romney is the nominee, I will actively seek his defeat.

I will not only vote third party, American Independent, but I will work to convince as many people as possible to do the same.

Santorum has a lifetime conservative rating from the American Conservative Union of 88%. Newt's lifetime rating is 90%.

The current head of the ACU is a Romney supporter. Imagine that.

Both ratings were compiled before the "current head" of the ACU became the head of the ACU.

Understand that.

Only recently and only to split the conservative vote, just like I explained. If Santorum was ever really a threat to Romney, the Romneybots wouldn’t be cheerleading his recent “surge.”

If Santorum gets the big Mo out of Iowa, and that’s a big if, it will guarantee Romney’s victory...

Why are you so intent on attacking and undercutting the conservative candidates?

But I’m a realist... A 4th place finish for Newt in Iowa is going to do some damage.

Newt will be lucky to come in 4th -- he's tied with Perry in the latest polling. He had a little run after Cain imploded but then people started remembering all the ways he has attacked conservatism over the past 15 years and he quickly faded.

Get off that fat old fraud's bandwagon before he takes any more of your money!

I got butthurt in 2010 because my GOP Rep (Dr. Tom Price) got re-elected and was given a leadership post. He now votes in lockstep with Boehner and against the wishes of his constituents. So far this year, he has given Obama every single thing he has asked for. Funding for Obamacare? Sure. Spending that is $1.6 trillion out of balance? Of course. Raising the debt ceiling by $2.5 trillion? Yes, yes, and yes.

And my Senators are even worse. Johnny Isakson is the worst Senator we have had since Herman Talmadge. Unfortunately, we are stuck with him for another five years. Why? Because he was the lesser of two evils. I am sick of it, and they can all go straight to hell.

My biggest butthurt in ‘10 was watching Lisa Murkowski completely turn feral in order to keep her Alaska seat.
And watching ‘Republican’ Senators give her cover and support in her new Independent life.

She and Corzine are lizard people.

Only recently and only to split the conservative vote, just like I explained.

Then the Newt supporters better get on board and support the candidate who has the best chance of winning Iowa - Rick Santorum.

The dynamics this election are different from 2008. Should Santorum finish strongly and a couple of other candidates finish poorly, we could see the field narrowed dramatically in the next two to three weeks.

Should this be the path, we could be seeing Romney versus one Conservative candidate. Given Conservative’s distaste for Romney, I actually would like our chances in a one on one match up with Santorum.

To the detractors, give the guy some credit. He's smart, a good debater, articulate and Conservative.

To those who still are so sure that Santorum can't play well on a National level, remember past elections where similar beliefs were proven wrong....Obama in 2008 and Clinton in 1992. It's a tough climb, but it is possible.

Noot is going to give it to his twin Bro Romney.

Noot didn’t belong in this, but the MSM injected him through false push polls and handling him with kid gloves in the “debates.”

Noot is grinning from ear to ear.
all he ever wanted was to kill conservative politics, and now he has.

The most successful conservative leader of the last 20 years belongs on this ticket. Speaker of the House rates higher than ineffectual congresswoman and a defeated senator who bears a distinct resemblance to Gomer Pyle.

Iowa isn’t going to pick my candidate for me.

Newt and Santorum should announce they’re teaming up on one ticket. Newt has to be on top. Everyone will have to agree he has to remain in the presidential race and keep doing the debates, so he has to be on top. Teaming up is the best way to consolidate the conservative vote and top Romney.
