Santorum doesnt have much viability beyond Iowa. New Hampshire will surely reject him. And the only thing he’ll do in SC and FL is hurt Newt which in turn will help Romney. He has no organization in those two states and Romney has been building a ground game in Florida for months.
You could be right, but Santorum could siphon off the bulk of the Gingrich support and win in SC, though I know that may be a pipe dream.
Except for a few "social issues" Huckabee was a progressive and fiscal Republicans could not support him. Not so with Santorum who is socially and fiscally conservative. If Santorum wins Iowa, NH will be most interesting.
You meen Huckabee — the guy who landslided Willard by about 10 points in Iowa and then finished top three everywhere after that — including a strong 2nd in SC (33%-30%). And won a ton of states on Super Tuesday! And then finished up 2nd in total delegates nationally to McCain?

You are the only liberal to bash Santorum on this thread. Huckster came mighty close to the nomination. He went all the way to the end. Santorum is a much better candidate.
