A pharmacist friend shared with me his alarm over the shortages before Christmas. He said that it was the FDA creating the shortages with brand new regulations. He said American pharmaceutical companies were not to blame for the shortages and that he expects it to get a lot worse this year.

Just another modus operandi for culling the population.

This is totally deliberate.

Stock up on hydrogen peroxide, oil of oregano, other essential oils. Betadine, alcohol, antiseptic washes with lidocaine.

Yep, it’s the FDA setting quotas on the production of those drugs in which we’re experiencing shortages. The drug companies can manufacture only the amount they were granted permission to make.

“.....with hospitals sometimes having to pay outrageous markups for scarce drugs.”

What your friend said, and from the article tell me this is just another way the Leftist’s are attacking the system.

There was a couple of weeks last year when the hospital where I work damn near ran out of Morphine. They had to buy it from local pharmacies to scrape by.

How in the hell could that possibly happen? There’s no reason Morphine couldn’t be as plentiful as Tobacco. It comes from Poppy flowers.....

Our head pharmacist later told me it was the DEA’s fault, but the suppliers and .gov were pretty much pointing fingers of blame at one another.

The elephant in the room regarding this issue which no one around here will talk about is Medicare Part D - brought to us courtesy of Dubya and a GOP controlled Congress.

The biggest scandal the corrupt Regime Media refuses to report on.

Basic cancer meds, including many for children, are missing.

Many essential medications in the Emergency Room are gone. It is all due to the Obama Regime and its utterly imcompetent medical bureaucracy.

I will wager anything that there are no shortages of these 267 medications in Washington.

folks go have a colonoscopy and have to be given a secondary drug instead of fentynal....you'll be awake the whole time and feel every little jab like you're being punched....and you'll remember everything going on...

it used to be that you pretty much slept from the git go and remember nothing....

this is what voting for rats and third party people get us....a monster govt. attacking the smallest of comforts for we the peasants...

FDA, BATFE, DOJ, EPA - all alphabet goobermint agencies have become forces for evil against their own citizens in the past few years.

The next few years are going to be very tense.

It’s obvious what is happening:

PHARMACY EXECUTIVE: There are reports of shortages of the drugs we make.

ASSISTANT: Then we should ramp up production and make lots of money!

PHARMACY EXECUTIVE: No, let’s not do that. I get more joy out of reading about people suffering and dying than I do in making money.

I am being totally sarcastic, of course. I wonder if liberals think that companies actually behave this way. If there’s a shortage, it’s virtually always the fault of a government.

These shortages are part of the slow implementation of Obamacare. And, yes, it's a feature, not a bug.

I had heard of the shortage of chemo drugs; but, just in the past few weeks I have been reading of shortages of drugs used in the "crash carts" at hospital emergency rooms.
