Do you have information about a company that you think has violated federal consumer financial laws? Are you a current or former employee of such a company, an industry insider who knows about such a company, or even a competitor being unfairly undercut by such a company? If so, the CFPB wants to hear from you. Tipsters and whistleblowers are encouraged to send information about what they know to whistleblower@cfpb.gov.
Current employees providing information about their own employers known as whistleblowers may be protected from being fired or from other employer retaliation for providing us information. To learn more about whistleblower protections, visit the Department of Labors Whistleblower Protection Program website.
Providing your name and contact information will make it easier for the CFPB to investigate the information you provide and may help us stop illegal conduct. Still, we understand that it may be frightening to come forward with information about possible legal violations, especially if it is about your own employer. To the extent consistent with law enforcement needs, the Bureau will not disclose your identifying information and will maintain your confidentiality as permitted by federal laws. If you feel you can only provide information to us anonymously, you can call our toll-free number at (855) 695-7974 and follow the instructions to speak to a CFPB employee.
Whistleblower information and law enforcement tips submitted to whistleblower@cfpb.gov are different from consumer complaints. The CFPBs consumer complaint process is available for individuals who have personally encountered problems with financial services or products. You can use this website, consumerfinance.gov, to submit a complaint about your credit card, mortgage, or other consumer financial product.
...so they can cover it up quicker than a six legged, seven toed cat can bury a tootsie roll
Dear sir,
Im writing to inform you of a crime commited by my boss.
He became president without actually being born in this country, then circumvented the constitution at every turn, all the while diverting money to his
buddies in Chicago and Europe.
I cant come forward at this time as I might lose my job as secretary of state.
For now please refer to me as:
HRC Deepthroat
Well said, well said.
I want to see this on a giant billboard in Orlando.
And maybe elsewhere?
It is quite telling on how many new “programs” have been rolled out that encourage people to turn in their fellow Americans. Creating our very own Vichy USA.
HAha! Funny!
Let’s all call that # and whisper like gollum:
ssssssssOO - LYNNNdraaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Can anyone imagine the MSM outcry if this had read, "Do you have information about a UNION that you think has violated a federal law?"
How about rewarding whistleblowers for fraud in welfare, medicare, medicaid and social security?
On most days I can keep myself hopeful that our republic is not lost.
Yesterday, with Hussein’s illegal appointments, and after looking the at this CFPB, I slipped back toward despair.
I keep the frequent emails to my rep and Senator civil, despite having recently reread our Declaration and why we separated from Great Britain. We endure similar, yet more corrosive abuse today.
Times like these make me wonder if we are suitable for self government.
Also, we still have free elections - in spite of groups like ACORN, cheating dems and unions... That's reason for hope...
Thanks. I just sent another msg to Marco Rubio.
Unless confronted and stopped, Rule by Obama Decree is just around the corner.
