CNSnews ^ | 1/4/12 | Philip Shepherd

(CNSNews.com) – On Jan. 1, the California Department of Education started implementing a new law that requires all children in the state’s public schools to study the “role and contributions” of “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans” to the “development of California and the United States of America.”

This law, according to the pro-family group SaveCalifornia.com, will require the schools to promote “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans as role models” and mandate that “children as young as kindergarten must be taught to admire persons who engage in homosexuality.”

When discussing this in class how will students refer to the gender question? HE, SHE, "HE-SHE" or "IT?"

Forcing perverted sexuality on little children. Beyond evil and disgusting. Children do NOT need to know about sexual perversion in grade school. The only reason they should know a little about it in middle school is because they will likely be confronted with it in some way. But grade school they should have their innocence intact. Of course, if they watch TV, movies, "entertainment" which includes Disney movies etc, they will have already been poisoned to some degree. Children's innocence is easily tainted and their whole lives can be affected. "Education" such as this is nothing but child molesting.

“There are those who believe that a new modernity demands a new morality. What they fail to consider is the harsh reality that there is no new morality. There is only one morality ... all else is immorality. There is only true Christian ethics over against which stand the whole of paganism.” - President Theodore Roosevelt

This deserves a re-post.

TY for the ping lj... and I totally agree.. This is something that parents NEVER should have allowed to happen (even going to what is shown in movies and TV)..

We are here now, what can we do? All I can suggest is boycotts (for TV/movies) and lots of faxes and phone calls to reps of each and ever jurisdiction you can do.. (and, of course, vote).

As for schools, well, I think most of us here know this has been happening since before I was born (no this specific situation.. the queer crap), but recommend to friends and family (and assist) about home schooling/private schools, if they can afford it.

I was raised in a West Texas town.. going to a public school that had not yet been hit by this marxist crap.. No idea how it is today, but I am sure lots of true history has been scrubbed and replaced with PC Bull...

Ok, sorry for the rant there.. It just gets my goat when children are used as tool to further the marxist cause :/

And yet the younger generation complains that America is getting to conservative for their liking, so they are looking at France and Sweden as alternatives.

It is really the worst form of sexual harrassment of children by adults.

Perhaps the California school system can use the information in my current profile for their curriculum:
http://freerepublic.com/~scripter
I'm sure they won't but it's publicly available in case they return to their senses.

When they bring up Harvey Milk, I wonder if they’ll mention his good friend Jim Jones and Harvey’s trip to Guyana to visit the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project.

I’m thinking probably not.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

I’ve long held out hope for vouchers, but without dismantling the state required education standards you won’t make an inch of progress. Why would government know what’s best for your child’s mind?

Many years ago I accidentally ran into an Al Pacino movie called Cruising. I didn’t know a thing about the homosexual lifestyle. After watching just the bar scene from that movie I was stupefied that anyone, anywhere could call that normal. If my heterosexual friends behaved that way they would be categorized as insane.

From a simple health/medical standpoint the lifestyle is destructive, utterly destructive. As insidious as heroin or crack.

Check out AP (Advanced Placement) US Government. The foundational philosophies of our nation are given short shrift and most classes watch West Wing to learn about American government.

That’s the class that our ‘best and brightest’ learn about our country. AP US History is just as bad. FDR and his fellow travelers are given the typical white wash. Now these same mush headed, but bright kids go on to become the Ivy League grads running the country. Can you see the problem?

GIGO

Public education considers itself a democrat voter making machine. Turning out subject after subject.

When I consider that these teachers are purposely turning out socialist voters who will guarantee their pensions flow uninterrupted it makes my blood boil.
