Newt Gingrich eyed as main rival - Strategies skip Santorum

MANCHESTER N.H. — The Super PAC backing Mitt Romney says it’s keeping its New Hampshire radar on Newt Gingrich — revving up to unleash its newest attack ad on Monday — a move experts say suggests that, for the Romney camp, Rick Santorum’s recent surge poses no political threat.

The Restore Our Future PAC, funded largely by wealthy Romney supporters, has elected to continue the onslaught of attacks on Gingrich only, its spokeswoman told the Herald.

The PAC’s entire nat-ional campaign next week — amid New Hampshire’s primary on Tuesday — will bypass the former Pennsylvania senator entirely, she said, and focus on what it still perceives as its greatest threat, Gingrich.

Newt ought to challenge him to a duel.

He did....a one on one debate. Romney wouldn't do it. He's a slimy chicken.

So here we have a PAC-—in other words Romney supporters violating the 11th. Reagan commandment to support Mitt Romney and lose any votes that the Gingrich voters might have brought to them.

Romney backers are not Republicans, they are liberals with an (R) next to their name. The only difference between them and liberals with a (D) next to their name is how fast they want to take us down the road to socialism.

Santorum doesn’t have a chance.... it is Santorum that is done.

Mitt has irritated me immensely with his cutsie-cutsie super-PAC shenanigans.

Does he really think that anyone is fooled by his oh-so-innocent “Hey, it’s not me, it’s the PAC” routine?

He may think he is being clever, but (to me anyhow) it just shows a low level of cunning, a callous disregard for the spirit of the relevant laws, and a contemptuous disdain for the intelligence of the voters.

He’s a dork.

Newt is our last chance. If Newt is taken out, it’s over and Obama wins.

This is as expected. Whoever let the cat out of the bag gave Newt the opportunity to preempt the attacks tonight and tomorrow in the debates. Think what Iowa’s results would have been if the debate was the next Tuesday after Dec. 17 instead of 3 weeks later, allowing all that time for Restore Our Future to carpet bomb Newt with all that bilge.

Santorum not having a real good week with the “black people” comment, the Social Security deal, and two debates this weekend. I think Newt will be back in second by a comfortable margin by the time we get to FL.

I’ve given lots of thought to this issue and unfortunately do believe Newt is the best choice.

Everyone with half a brain who doesn’t have blinders on knows that Gingrich is the only threat to Romney.

I know the Santorum people don’t want to believe that, but that’s the facts.

It’s either Romney or Gingrich. Supporting anyone else is handing the nomination to Romney.

“Rave on——Santorum can’t get elected over Obama-—”

You think Newt can? Newt is a walking time bomb just waiting to implode.

Oh well then, if you say so.

Let’s just skip this primary thing then.

It’s so inconvenient.

Jim Robinson sure figured it out early in the process, along with Thomas Sowell, Michael Reagan, and others. Even with evidence though, many will still deny it.

One of the greatest problems we face is illegal immigration. It costs hundreds of billions annually and will destroy the fabric of our country.

As Roy Beck of Numbers USA points out, Gingrich is one of the worst, if not the worst Republican, on the issue of illegal immigration. Newt's plan is nothing more than a stealth amnesty. Any illegal with an IQ over 25 can figure a way to secure amnesty between Newt's “establishing roots,” belonging to a church or a WWII-type neighborhood board composed of bleeding-heart liberals.

The fact that RINO commentators are coming out of the woodwork for Santorum convinces me that he’s not perceived as a threat to either Romney or Obama. He’s a social conservative, I’m sure he’s a nice if somewhat dull guy, he has a lovely family...but he’s not up to taking on Obama.

I sort of agree. However, I have a daughter and son-in-law that mean everything to me so I cant give up regardless of elections.

IF Romney gets in it means a doubled effort to show him the way.

We'd be doing it for Newt as well just not as much.

Truth is,and many thanks to the tea party, we are fast becoming a Conservative party that cannot be ignored anymore.

Even a Romney presidency will have to pay homage to us. I hate the thought of him getting in but if it happens believe me we will deal with it. The stakes are too high not to.

“It’s either Romney or Gingrich. Supporting anyone else is handing the nomination to Romney.”

AND, handing it to Romney is the same as handing it to Obama.

Romney's Political surrogate shares Romney's thought that he can destroy Santorum in easy manner, but only AFTER he attempts to get Newt out of the way. The following Iowa article exposes Romney's strategy. Any so called conservative who backs Romney is DISGUSTING for Conservatives and Conservatism.

Here is a quote from David Polyansky, a political strategist who helped Huckabee get elected and then worked to help Bachman with her Straw Poll and used Bachman to bash Newt. David Polyansky is a RINO and Conservatives are sick and tired of the media letting RINO's represent us in articles and on television. Perfect example: Ann Coulter is a RINO at best, she is sleeping with a Liberal hack, which means she is a Christian in name only and is attempting to represent herself as a voice for Conservatives. Ann needs to SHUT IT. She does NOT represent Conservatives.

David Polyansky, initially states's the POLITICAL FORTUNE of Santorum’s recent advance (Romney's political fortune). 2nd quote, he praises a CNN poll for convincing Iowa voters to vote for Santorum. 3rd quote he says Santorum and Pual can easily be taken out in South Carolina and Florida and calls both Newt and Perry dangerous for Romney in South Carolina and Florida.

It looks as if is secretly working for Romney in order to knock the most Conservative and nationally popular candidates out of the race early. All of his quotes in this article point to Romney winning as long as Santorum and Paul stay in longer than dangerous Newt and Perry. Looks like he is in it for Romney.

1st Quote:
“Few saw this bombshell coming,” GOP strategist David Polyansky said. “In an already unpredictable race this is another stunning turn of political fortune.”

2nd Quote:
“It is kind of interesting to see that, by pure luck and timing, in what many have dubbed the ‘Fox Primary,’ that it might actually be CNN as the network that had the biggest impact and influence on the Iowa caucus,” Polyansky said. (this romney surrogate which attempts to pose as a uncommitted republican analyst, is doing a happy dance that CNN posted a poll that put Santorum as a lead candidate in order to split the Conservative Vote.

3rd Quote (money quote - he's in it for Romney
Where Romney places in the caucuses may prove less important than where his rivals land, Polyansky said. Santorum and Paul would be much easier to dispose of in South Carolina and Florida than the more dangerous Perry and Gingrich, he said.
