I didn't like Archie when I was a kid and I deplore his embrace with depravity and perversion. Children should not be allowed to purchase this toxic garbage.

That is certainly not the Archie I remember from the 1960s when it was a comic book and a newspaper cartoon strip.

If I caught my kid with one of these Archie’s I would take it and beat his butt with it. This stuff isn’t fit to put out for the dog to crap on.

Nonsense, Jonathan
It’s about perversion, pandering and profits. Nothing else.

Glad I hung onto all of my old Archie’s, Casper, etc., so my kids read stuff that was a lot more innocent before this crap.

Who is the target audience for this comic? Archie is a high school student at Riverdale High. Any storyline that involved a wedding of ANY kind would be a very odd and out of place plot. It's a comic for kids, not adults. Is Ms. Grundy going to come out as a lesbian?
I remember the controversy over the Spire "Chistian Archie" comics from the 70's. Liberal's heads practically exploded over that series. How far we've come.

So, add to the gang of Archie, Veronica, Betty, and Jughead living peacefully in Riverdale two new residents, known affectionately as Pillow Biter and Rump Wrangler.
I look forward to the Life With Archie No. 17 issue, wherein the kindly town doctor explains to his new patients that their sexually perverse and immoral lifestyle will lead to their premature deaths decades before their heterosexual counterparts.
What's that...don't hold my breath?

This is so bizzare that its funny. When I first saw the inter-racial same sex marriage was in “Archie” I thought, no, it can’t be THAT Archie. But it is!!! WTF is going on????? This is almost as good as the Captain America vs. the Tea Party comic. Just throw them all in the trash. Good riddance to bad rubbish. And they wonder why DC Comics and Marvel go bankrupt once every couple years.

Do you need to push this down the throat of 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th graders??? Somebody should start a comic that is CONSERVATIVE.

If they only trying to "mirror the diversity ... of today's world," they wouldn't show ANY middle-class / suburban high school students getting married, at least where no pregnancy is involved. That they chose to make the marrying students same-sex only lays bare(r) the political agenda at work here.
What happened to telling funny stories to which the target audience can relate (at, presumably, ages 6-11 or so)?
As for Miss Grundy, she's divorced, of course.
