In an interview today on CNNs John King, USA, chairman of the Tea Party Express Amy Kremer spoke with CNN anchor and chief national correspondent John King about the Tea Partys influence in the 2012 GOP presidential race. "Well, I will tell you that Tea Party Express, we will be endorsing by South Carolina. And I believe that South Carolina is going to be a game-changer and going into Florida."

KREMER: Well, I mean I am seeing a shift toward Perry and Gingrich. I mean it's almost like the Perry campaign and the Gingrich campaign have put out an e-mail that said you need to lobby Tea Party Express, because I've been inundated since last week with messages from supporters, not the campaign, but from supporters.

The Tea Party must act soon or the demographic game will be over. Ann Coulter thinks it will be over for Republicans at the Presidential level by 2016 and I suspect she is right. We conservatives like to think it’s all about ideas, but demographics play a huge role. We may have one more chance to stop the tide of immigration from forever turning the country against us. We must act now.
“The anti capitalism thing is just now breaking, the blow back will take a day or two. But the blow back will be intense.”
It’s anti-Romney. If you think people are going to rally round the Mitt, you can keep dreaming.
I understand that the Tea Party movement is upset that Nikki Haley, who won as governor thanks to Tea Party support, has endorsed Romney. Tea Party needs to endorse Gingrich or Santorum TODAY! Also, Perry needs to go home and endorse one of these guys. And Bachmann... what’s up with her? Time for her to endorse a conservative. We can’t let Romney and Paul gain any more momentum.
Oh this is not going to help Mitt. Blow back mean unintended consequences, Newt will hurt Mitt, but Newt is hurting more then just Mitt by adopting Marxist anti capitalist rhetoric.
Which candidate is prepared and willing to fight that battle?
Justin Bieber is very young, good looking and vibrant- He's your guy!
Whether or not I agree or disagree with this person's "endorsement" I half-way resent anyone trying to play band leader for one of the very few truly spontaneous political movements in American history. It dilutes things down to the personal, and though cited influences nothing.
In order for the TEA party to knock this obnoxious, narcissistic Amy person down - which needs to happen - what should happen?
I understand why people like Rush and Sarah don’t endorse early ... but how is that working out.
When they get behind someone... it’s usually too late.
Thank you Sarah for this mess.
Drama Queen?
Newt is the ONLY candidate that worked with a Dem Pres to accomplish the biggest “right” turn in our government.
I think we’d be fine with Newt.
Bachman will support Mitt.
I don’t know which candidate is best on immigration, I really don’t. Rick Perry broke my heart with his soft stance. Bachmann may have been good but she is out. Gingrich not good. I am not sure about Paul - he is more for sending a message than a serious candidate. And Coulter seems to think Romney is decent on it, but I am not sure why. All we can do is raise Hades over the issue and make sure it’s addressed in convention. If we don’t speak up, I’m afraid it’s over. How long can we quiver being called names like bigot? They are gonna call us that anyway
I know. This is so disappointing.
It would have been an opportunity for Newt or Perry to simply say...
"Running a business sometimes requires letting people go. You do this to save the jobs that remain, it is the most compassionate choice to make. The actions of equity firms generally function to save jobs that would have been lost anyway. They buy distressed firms, and they provide capital to others that cannot get banks to cooperate. The system functions better with them than without them."
"Now let's get on to the things that are really wrong with Mitt Romney, because his experience at Bain Capital isn't one of them."
This is very disconcerting to me. I cannot see Sarah Palin or Herman Cain going down the road that Newt and Perry have chosen to go down here.
Now, with the eruption of this issue, would be a good time for them to "un-suspend" their campaign for President. A window has opened.
It seems individual politicians have become wary of making endorsements. I really don’t blame them because if the endorsement doesn’t work out, the person gets it thrown repeatedly back in their face in the future....or maybe their is nobody they agree with enough to go out on a limb and endorse.
[Pass it on to everyone you know...]
Done. with one exception: NEWT/-———?
“Like it or not, most people want their president to be good looking and vibrant.”
People think obuma is good looking?
That purple-lipped, dead-eyed zombie looks like a cadaver that a mad scientist scraped off the coroner’s OD slab.
Politicians need to be sure that they agree with 51% of the voting public.
