In an interview today on CNNs John King, USA, chairman of the Tea Party Express Amy Kremer spoke with CNN anchor and chief national correspondent John King about the Tea Partys influence in the 2012 GOP presidential race. "Well, I will tell you that Tea Party Express, we will be endorsing by South Carolina. And I believe that South Carolina is going to be a game-changer and going into Florida."

KREMER: Well, I mean I am seeing a shift toward Perry and Gingrich. I mean it's almost like the Perry campaign and the Gingrich campaign have put out an e-mail that said you need to lobby Tea Party Express, because I've been inundated since last week with messages from supporters, not the campaign, but from supporters.

These perceptions you cite about Governor Rick Perry are based upon misinformation that has been refuted by many on the Free Republic. That you continue to spout them is evidence of a persistent bigotry that seems to have a life of its own. I cannot fathom why that bigotry continues to persist. It is one of the mysteries that baffles me about this political season.
I get that logic. Still, if an individual politician cares about the fate of the country, and having the right person in the White House, that should be worth taking the risk of going out on a limb.
Listening to Rush and he must be an even bigger one. Really going off on Newt now.
I get ya. I just see so many not endorsing anymore. If they still want a future for themselves.
Pathetic, isn’t it? Could you imagine the Founding Fathers being so timid and spineless? They sacrificed everthing for the country, but our politicians today have no principles.

Katie, this is great... and thanks for posting on the run.. I am going to write another tonight, and then another, etc. I would like to borrow a few of your pithy phrases here and there - iF that’s okay - especially: “Urge you to support Newt. Accomplishments as speaker include the first balanced budget ammendment since 1969; Contract With America; GOP Revolution; Bucked Bush 41 on tax hikes and created millions of jobs.”
And of course the mighty:
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
PITHY AND TO THE POINT!! Hope others follow suit!
Looks like they are wrong:
The last poll of the respected Rasmussen pollster has Santorum just a few points behind Romney in SC:
“Election 2012: South Carolina Republican Primary
South Carolina Primary: Romney 27%, Santorum 24%, Gingrich 18%”
But what makes it even more promising for Santorum is that he has MOMENTUM on his side.
Romney’s win in NH might give him a temporary boost in the polls, but I think he will then drop again. Just a guess.
It’s the first I have seen these quotes. Pretty damning IMO. I am not liking what they said.
It’s all water under the bridge anyway. Governor Rick Perry should save his campaign money and quit after his results in New Hampshire. I don’t think the southern states will overcome the mo of Romney.
You know Ann Coulter keeps acting like Mitt Romney will do the best on the border. I trust her but I don’t know why she believes that. IF true, I’d vote for him. And all the other candidates are bad on the border (heck, it cost Perry the nomination). All we can do is keep raising the issue
I live in socal, and in LA they have decided not to impound the cars of unlicensed illegals. Even if they have caused an accident and it doesn’t matter if there is an injury! The madness is incalculable. One illegal was released with his car four or five days before dragging a four year old boy to his death.
God help us because these politicians won’t.
