Very cool. Yes, I missed that.

I spent several years in AZ as a child. We had black widows, tarrantulas, scorpions, rattlesnakes, etc. My grandparents had a time trying to explain that “Yes, it’s very cool but it’s also very dangerous. No, you can’t play with it. Yes, it does look like a red hour glass, doesn’t it?”

The snake I just posted is actually newly discovered (by humans anyway) and already “endangered.” They just found it in Tanzania and are calling it Matilda’s Horned Viper. They’ve started a captive breeding colony. Check it out on Google News. It’s rather cool.
