Gingrich goes Perot on Romney
Rushlimbaugh.com ^ | 1/10/2012 | Rush Limbaugh

RUSH: Folks, I realize this is serious out there, and at some point I may have to issue a fatwa to stop this. If I sense it's really getting out of hand, of course I'll take action. I'll stand up and I'll just tell everybody here involved, "Cut this out and get serious." I don't want to bleed on any of you. It's unbecoming (sigh), but you don't know what being surrounded by negativism is. I am surrounded by it. It takes a concerted effort on my part every day to avoid it, to not be affected by it. I can't tell you tell you the amount of pessimism that's out there over this and a number of other things. So I know how you feel about this. I know you're worried about the negative aspect of it, but I just want to tell you that you are not alone. We have more Newt sound bites here. You're gonna have to hear this. That happened this afternoon on Fox with Megyn Kelly. Yeah, it was Megyn Kelly. It's America Live. She interviewing Newt. Megyn Kelly said to Newt, "Isn't our financial system, isn't our free enterprise system, set up to speak to profits, not so much fairness?" Isn't that what people go into business for (this is the essence of her question): profits?

GINGRICH: There has to be some sense of everybody's in the same boat -- and I think again, as I said, he's gonna have to explain why would Bain have taken $180 million out of a company and then have it go bankrupt, and to what extent did they have some obligation to the workers? ...........

Newt needs to do whatever it takes to destroy Romney.

ROMNEY HAS TO BE DESTROYED. If he isn’t, he will be the nominee. If he isthe nominee he will lose badly to Obama. Romney takes the second biggest issue of the table for thr Republicans....repealing Obamacare.

A Romney nomination = an Obama second term.

“How is it that Limbaugh doesn’t recognize Romney’s political posturing?”

For the same reasons he did not recognize the Bush political posturing.

How can it be possible that Limbaugh could fail to understand that Romney’s so called “defense” of capitalism is not reliable?

For the same reason he failed to understand Bush’s I-had-to-violate-the-principles-of-the-free-market-system-to-save-it so-called “defense” of TARP was “unreliable”.

Couldn't agree more. Don't know what Rush was up to today, with his defense of slick Willard!

Why was it ok for Romney to attack any of the other candidates and they can't attack him? As far as what newt said, I'm sure it is much tamer than what the left will do. They have the Ted Kennedy commercial about Bain and Romney that is worse than anything any of our guys have said. If Romney can't answer questions about it,he should not be running. Why does then GOP WANT to hid it from the primary voters, when they KNOW it will come up at the general?

If Romney wins, a conservative will run third party and that is where my vote will go. No Romney for me.

A better title for your posted article (transcript) would have been “Limbaugh goes Romney on Gingrich”.

Newt is performing the ultimate service for the conservatives. . . .

________________________________________________________

In the end this may help Santorum, I hope so. I do not think this will help Newt. I doubt it will hurt Romney. Surely the Romney bunch thought through this argument. It has probably surprised them coming from Newt but they had to know it was coming.

I doubt that Newts sacrifice really helped anybody. If the answer to the bomb is a good one then it is taken away from Obama. In that respect it will only hurt Obama. I think anything is better than Obama, no, not quite. I think anybody that is not a Democrat is better than Obama.

Go Rick!

“2) Questions on business ethics are legitimate inquiries that one should have to answer for, especially if they’re running for public office—these are not attacks on capitalism, and it’s completely goofy that some would construe it that way. Those advocating a “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” attitude towards private enterprise activity, aren’t doing capitalism any favors.”

Thank you for being the person to finally point this out. I can’t understand why the point was lost on Rush. In response to Romney’s “I love to fire people,” Rush kept saying today, “Well, isn’t that what we want?” NO, it isn’t what we want. We want people who are well able to fire people when it’s necessary, but not people like Willard who take pleasure in it.

It was most entertaining to hear Limbaugh drop the pretense of being a conservative yesterday and today. I’ll still tune in to hear the parodies - they make me laugh almost as much as the idea Limbaugh is anything other than a suck-up to the establishment.

You are exactly right, that is what I have been thinking. It is the word “like” - and the way he used it. He could have just said something Americans want the freedom to find the best, or switch to the best, or something... but who likes to fire anybody, even when they deserve it?

IMHO, Mitt would likely be worse than Zero. He would give in to every liberal demand and would have McCain, Graham and the other RINOs to help see it through. I will stay home if Mitt is the nominee. This is the same crap we were handed with McCain. I WILL NOT HOLD MY NOSE TO VOTE FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS. I will go third party and have a clear conscience. I know that I will be flamed for saying this but my one vote won't matter when you look at all the voter enthusiasm that RINO-boy will induce.

I think he will take Romney down when he starts digging into Romney’s money making machine and back up website — Dimocrats dollars? I really wouldn’t be surprised.

You are right, it makes no sense to vote for Romney when you know he is a big government shill. I will never vote for a big Government Republican and neither should anyone who loves the USA and has it’s best long ter interests at heart.

In hope everyone is learning a real lesson here. The Republican party does not represent or work for small government as it says it does. Look at who they nominate? The Bushes? McCain? Romney? Hell, the Republican establishment was against Reagan. And even he grew government each and every year. No more. Cut government to the core. I can not live with myself if I voted otherwise.

"As far as I am concerned, the very second that Romney gets the nomination, will be the very second that Obama wins the election."

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together? Conservatism is screwed and the highway is open for the mouth-breathing socialists. I firmly believe that the Dems. and mainstream media are confident that Romney cannot beat the "chosen one"; Therefore they have been attacking every contender of Romney who rises to the surface in the polls. A caution: Not voting for the Republican candidate facing Obama, is essentially a vote for Obama. I would not doubt for a minute that Paul may declare himself a 3rd party candidate and defecate on everyone's parade.

RUSH LIMBAUGH ... "You are ALL Wrong" ... and I hope that you read this post ...

I'm a proud Tea Party Conservative, Business Owner (Coggeshall Engineering Associates Inc.) and a clear-minded Newt Gingrich supporter ...

I'm sure that Newt (perfectly) AGREES that Mitt Romney had the LEGAL RIGHT to run Bain Capital as he saw fit ... just as Ebeneezer Scrooge had EVERY RIGHT to run his own business ...

After all, Newt Gingrich and I are "dedicated" hard-working capitalists ...

So WHAT (exactly) did Mitt Romney do wrong ?

Just like Ebeneezer Scrooge forced widows and orphans to go "homeless" in the Christmas snow ... because Scrooge was a GREEDY S.O.B. ...

Mitt Romney not only made MILLIONS buying troubled corporations ... but then Mitt's ABSOLUTE FREAKING GREED compelled him to take the "Ebeneezer Scrooge Option" ...

and like the Cold-Hearted S.O.B. Bastard Mitt is ...

FIRE, TERMINATE thousands of (innocent) people (workers) who DID NOT NEED TO BE FIRED AT ALL ...

Why ? Mitt Romney's SATANIC GREED ... Period.

"Gentle and Smiling" Mitt Romney is a Sociopathic GREEDY Bastard ... I'd say more ... but the Admin Moderator is watching ...

How about just that the ONLY difference between an Arrogant Obama and Mitt Romney ... is that Obama is "only" half-white ...

Conservatism is comprised of a set of ideals of the past, morality being one of its pillars. Without morality, there is no conservatism. Good uses can be made of capital. Capital shouldn’t be stolen, even if government is legally used as a tool to commit the theft.

G-d, country and family, in that order. Without morality, there will be no country.
