Appearing on Fox News’ Hannity, Sarah Palin reacted in disgust to a clip from Gayle King‘s interview with First Lady Michelle Obama, where she said Americans were “confused” about how much had been accomplished by the President. “Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord — what are we just a bunch of numbskulls out here in the heartland of America?” Palin exclaimed incredulously. “Just a bunch of numbskulls who can’t read the unemployment numbers and see that 5 trillion dollars in new debt later under her husband, President Obama? 5 trillion dollars more! And we have fewer jobs today than we had before we took over, but, no, we’re numbskulls out here and we don’t know what the numbers actually represent!”

“We’re not that bright!” added Hannity, who later asked if the former Alaska Governor was worried Republicans wouldn’t be able to come together to defeat President Obama.
“You know why people are so concerned, two to one, about a second term for President Obama?” Palin questioned. “We understand with now — 15, 16 trillion dollars in debt, there’s not enough money in the world to pay back what it is that we have borrowed for today’s wants and needs and yet we’re going to try to hand this bill to our kids and grandkids. That makes us less safe and secure as a nation and when you see the turmoil going around this world and now, more than ever, America needs that strong military, we shouldn’t be looking first at cutting military funding.

Sarah Palin always has the reaction to Obama or the left’s latest outrage that almost any normal American would have, which is why she is called ‘authentic’ and also why so many, even on the ‘right’ hate her guts. Michelle Obama, lamely attempting to excuse her husband’s horrible record as president, oh-so politely calls Americans ‘confused’. Palin reacts with an equal amount of surprise and indignation, just as any America would at, as Sean Hannity added, being told that we’re ‘stupid’. This is the constant attitude of Obama and all leftists: they’re much smarter than you. They live by this belief. So, Mrs. Obama claiming that Americans that are angry and disappointed with her husband’s stunningly poor record in office are simply ‘confused about his record’ is probably something she really believes. That this makes her an idiot is obvious - to everyone but her and her leftist circle. Meanwhile, Sarah Palin reacts for all of us - with incredulity and annoyance at the arrogance of Michelle Obama, an arrogance she shares with all leftists.

Sarah knows why even people like Limbaugh are piling on Newt. Newt knows and his wealthy supporters know that the party is in the hands of a club, and neither Newt nor his backers, nor certainly Sarah, are insiders in that club. Romney is their boy, and who is the Tea Party, or an outlier like Gingrich to try to shake things up. To be sure, Newt for years worked the system to his advantage, sort of like Tom Delay. But Newt is right about Romney. If Newt is a loose cannon and unpredictable, Romney is a man who refuses to stand on his record, because it is completely inconsistent with what he is saying right now. After seeing what the House leadership did last year, and is still doing, a conservative can only guess that this is the direction that Romney will go, also. Pretty much accepting the new budget levels and just trimming at the edges.

As soon as one bond becomes due,the Fed will buy a new bond with brand new money created out of thin air. The government will use that money to repay the debt one bond at a time. Perpetual never ending debt is what the central banks want.
I'm not so optimistic. I think the scales may come back on some eyes temporarily in November.
