At this rate, it will not be long before the ancient Pyramids, the Sphinx and the tombs in the Valley of Kings are relegated to the same fate as the ancient statues of Buddha destroyed by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

All brought to you by the "Religion of Peace"

I am so glad that many museums resisted the call to send ancient Egyptian artifacts back to Egypt.

Egypt might become the first country attacked by the UN in order to protect a UN World Heritage Site.

Yup.
That’s how they began with blowing up the giant Buddha in Afghanistan.

They won't do a thing. Sites have already been looted. The Cairo Museum was broken into and over seventy items were stolen during the riots, less then half have been recovered and of those many were damaged including items from Tut's tomb.

It goes back further than that, with the burning of the great Library of Alexandria.

I was watching some shows about ancient Egypt with my mother a few days ago and told her exactly that. They will destroy it all if they can get away with it.

“It goes back further than that, with the burning of the great Library of Alexandria.”

Mostly accepted as being accidently burned by Julius Caesar but I take it you believe it was the Moslem Caliph Omar?

“The Caliph has been quoted as saying of the Library’s holdings, “they will either contradict the Koran, in which case they are heresy, or they will agree with it, so they are superfluous.”

Interesting comment.

Our “inner barbarian” is far closer than we think. Pre WW II Germany was the world’s most educated and advanced nation. Yet, Hitler took it into barbarism in a few years.

Therefore, beware of those who want to emulate Hitler, wanna be tyrants like Obamoids, Liberals, Prog, ad nauseam.

I wonder if El-Shehat is mispelled. Could be “El Shit in his hat”. That would be more appropriate.

In our lingo, it would be “shit head”. Even more appropriate for this psycho.

If he ever loses his job in Egypt, he can get another one at either Columbia Un, Georgetown Un. or Union Theological Seminary, or in the White House. They need a new chief of staff.

I guess we’ll soon see if there are any sane people in Egypt, or not.

When some Egyptians actually tried to recover some items from the museum they torched recently, they were shot and & beaten by members of the Army.

It’s just another day in koranistan.
