(Obama Supported) 'Occupy' protesters suspected of throwing smoke bomb over White House fence
Fox News ^ | 1/17/2012 | fox news

The Secret Service was responding Tuesday night to an escalating protest that may have involved a smoke bomb being thrown over the White House fence.

An estimated 1,000 protesters have gathered. No arrests have been made, but authorities are on alert.

The tense scene outside the White House follows an earlier protest on the West Lawn of the Capitol, in which several hundred protesters affiliated with the Occupy Wall Street movement decried the influence of corporate money in politics and voice myriad other grievances.

Organizers had touted the rally, known as Occupy Congress, as the largest national gathering of Occupy protesters to date and secured a permit that would have allowed up to 10,000 people to participate. By mid-afternoon, the protest appeared to have fallen far short of those goals.

“While the rally was mostly peaceful, there were some scuffles between police and protesters along walkways leading to the Capitol.”

This must be a one-button copy/paste, like in the old Borland “Sidekick” program.

“My guess is that they are too stupid to realize that Obama is on their side.”

Whatever radicals may be behind the “Occupy” movement, the rank-and-file are often people who lost their jobs on Obama’s shift. I’m sure they’d love him if they were bringing home a paycheck, but for many the prospects of working are not on the horizon. When the demonstration started on Wall Street (before it grew), there were many anti-Obama signs and interviews; when people started watching on TV, those were broomed under the carpet and he pretended to support them. They are white liberals, who often have a low opinion of blacks anyway (beyond the lip service - look at the lack of diversity in their neighborhoods); they probably voted for him, and feel shafted like many others who made the same mistake.

Q: What is the difference between and OWS protester and a pizza?

A: A Pizza can feed a family of four.

My 14 year old daughter told me this at the dinner table yesterday, although I substituted OWS for something that is a politically incorrect term that is found in every major American city.

If she gets it, then why doesn't the majority of the country get it?

"God bless them (Occupy)," Pelosi said, "for their spontaneity. It's independent ... it's young, it's spontaneous, and it's focused. And it's going to be effective."

This is all probably done with coordination of Obama's reelection campaign. The Marxist wants have the mushy middle think "extremists" hate Obama, therefore, Obama must not be the radical the right paints him.

That, or they just are too stupid to realize their guy is at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
