I'm officially endorsing Newt Gingrich for president today. Was going to wait until after Florida, but see no reason to delay. We need Newt to win in South Carolina and Florida to stop any possible momentum building up for the establishment big government, statist, abortionist RINO!!

RomneyCare = ObamaCare = government tyranny!! Taxpayer funded abortion is as evil as evil can be!!

Newt is a pro-life Reagan Revolution conservative who led the Republican Revolution of the 90’s, taking the majority away from the democrats who had held it for 40 years. And as Speaker, cut the taxes, cut the government, cut the spending, cut the deficit, cut regulations, cut unemployment, brought the federal budget under control for four years running. And unlike Romney, actually blocked a socialist healthcare system from becoming law. And created a pro-growth, pro-free market, pro-jobs environment and extended the Reagan economy throughout the 90’s!! Newt is the ideal candidate to lead the Tea Party Revolution!!

Newt plans to go to a 15% personal flat tax after deductions and a 12.5% corporate tax and eliminate the capital gains taxes altogether. He wants to privatize social security and medicare and eliminate the payroll tax.

And he wants to neuter the EPA and the Fed. Repeal ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank and Sarbanes-Oxley. Fire all of the czars, dismantle the Marxist state and fire if not jail Bernanke. And send 185 federal socialist welfare programs back to the states and the people, and return education back to local control.

Newt will directly challenge the liberal activist judiciary and end the unconstitutional power grabs of our usurping black robed rulers.

He wants to restore the constitutional balance of powers between the three branches and restore states rights and individual rights. He wants to turn government control back to the states and local people as the founders set it up.

These are the kind of dramatic reductions in government that the tea party is demanding.

And he has the knowledge, experience, know how, fire in the belly, and the balls to get it done!!

In short, I believe he's exactly what we grassroots conservative tea party rebels are looking for. I think we can use some of Newt’s conservative revolutionary talents right now!!

As long as the conservatives remain split, the establishment RINO Romney will waltz in just like McLame in 2008 and he will lose to Obama just like McLame. It's time to build the Gingrich Coalition!!

FR is hereby officially in full open rebellion against the elite GOP establishment and the Marxist commiecrats!!

Go, tea party!! Go, Newt!!

We are the resistance!!

Damn the torpedoes, damn the RINOs, damn the exes!! Full speed ahead!!

Free Republic is and will remain a pro-life, pro-family, limited government, strong defense, grassroots conservative site!!

RINOs need not apply!!

Happy Newt Day!! Only 366 days until President Newt evicts Obama!!

I support Newt!!!
Not that that is a surprise to anyone that knows me :-)

IMO this Marianne Gingrich stunt to day is not from the Romney camp...this is from camp Zero.

I repost no something from another post I made earlier today....seems appropriate to post it again here....

This Gingrich divorce story has the foul smell of The Chicago Way about it! :-(

The left is pulling out all the stops now that they can see the demise of our republic so close at hand. Their relentless attacks on anyone that might shine even a weak light on their evil intentions is frightening.

The attacks on the conservatives seeking the republican nomination are a case in point. And now, just when Newt is pulling ahead of Romney again in the polls they are doing all they can to obliterate him.

We have arrived at a critical juncture, The stooge that has been set up to lose to Obama is in serious trouble.

Newt, a man with the ability to crush Obama in the general election, once again, against all odds, rises to the occasion, ready to do battle.

The RINO powerful have come to the conclusion that Obama, due to vote fraud, MSM backing, the size of his war chest, and his willingness to break any rule or law.. will prevail in November. And so they bring forth yet another weak candidate to hopefully lose gracefully and perhaps enable them to retain some power in the House and Senate and thereby maintain access to the perks of power.

Newt is a man of awesome intellectual abilities, not a perfect man, nor a humble man to be sure. But he is a man who has humbled himself before God and made his peace with his demons.

The corrupt Chicago machine seeks to exhume the corpse of Newt’s past and parade it before the electorate in a desperate attempt to destroy him before he can rout the anointed GOP nominee and in so doing become a mortal threat to Obama.

They know that Newt is a fearless warrior who will not shrink from airing the stinking load of soiled laundry that is the Obama administration. He will not be silenced, he cannot be intimidated, he stubbornly refuses to be controlled. He will say that which they dread to hear. He is their worst nightmare sprung to life.

When Newt exercised power what did he do? what were the results of what he did? Were you pleased? These are the true measure of the man.

If we fail to support Mr Gingrich at this critical time I feel we will be abandoning our one best hope to stop this nation’s slide into an immoral abyss. We will have cried out for a champion to save us, and then when God raised up a Gideon, we refused him because he was not a perfect man.

There was ever only one perfect man.....all the rest can only beg forgiveness and strive to do the best they can.

(Gideon, from the Hebrew: which means “Destroyer,” “Mighty warrior”, or “Feller of trees”)

If Newt pulls a victory in South Carolina, we will be forever in debt to the Palmetto State for saving the republic! Go South Carolina!

I like Santorum too, but Newt is the only one we have with a proven record of beating the Democrats at their own game at a truly historic magnitude.

I am a Santorum supporter who recognizes the importance of defeating Romney.

Therefore, I will recommend voting for whoever is most likely to beat Romney in any state, ESPECIALLY winner take all states.

In SC and FL, that means Gingrich, in PA, Santorum, in VA ... yup, Ron Paul.

If Gingrich takes command then he should be supported all the way through. If Gingrich polls well down south, but Santorum better in the Great Lakes and Plains, then whoever will beat Romney.

For The next two elections, go Newt.

Count me in Jim. What sealed the deal for me was quite frankly the lamestream media attempt to 'do a Herman-Cain' on Newt via his pathetic ex-wife who was only missing one character in her little drama, the equally pathetic Gloria Allred scripting her out.

As Governor Rick Perry said, "Newt isn't perfect but who among us is?" and it's time to line up behind Newt and Rick Santorum (who I like) needs to face the reality that his campaign is stalled, is not picking up momentum and the best thing Santorum can do is to emulate Governor Perry, withdraw and endorse Newt.

The idea of Romney being the nominee is sickening, and Newt is the only candidate capable of taking on 0bama-lama-ding-dong and prevailing. Newt will dismantle that poser 'live' on TV and that is why there is such an effort being made to sabotage Newt 2 days before the South Carolina primary.

As for that kook Ron Paul? He is equally despicable and as sickening as Mitt-Witt Romney which leads me to ask when FR can expect to see a Bug Zapper(c) thread dedicated to fumigating this fine website of all PaulTards and their ilk?

God Bless You Jim!

Glad to hear it Jim; I was wondering when you'd get on board with Gingrich.

I sent the following email to Newt.org.

Dear Mr. Speaker, I've been a Goldwater/Reagan conservative since before I was old enough to vote and believe you are the only Republican candidate who can beat Barack Obama.

Your breath and depth of American history, combined with your logical debating skills will enable you to win the Presidency and restore our freedoms embodied in the Declaration and our Constitution.

One suggestion: When arguing the facts before an audience, to further disarm your opponents, please occasionally put on the "Reagan smile" during the fight. Reagan endeared Americans with his occasional sarcasm, smile and sense of humor.

Warmest Regards,

I'm wondering if you and others would like to see Gingrich smiling while stomping his opponents.

I hope the media pick up on this endorsement. With Rick Perry and now Jim endorsing Newt it should create enough Big MO to get Newt over the finish line. I can’t wait to see Newt go up against the Kenyan in the debates.
