"It explicitly says that NO FUNDS CAN BE USED FOR ABORTION."

So the funds went to the light bill, the janitor, phone system and advertising.

They still went to "non-profit" organizations that promote and perform abortions.

The PaulBot has a point and a valid criticism.

Friggin' retard PaulBots.

I saw it for myself: Alex Newman > PAUL BOT

Paul has also accused Santorum of beng corrupt. Santorum confonted him at one of the last few debates.

While I'm saddened to learn this, The New American is the John Birch Society's magazine, and their guy is Ron Paul. Notice their criticism of Santorum's alleged "rants" against Paul.

I don't know if JBS and TNA make official endorsements, but they don't need to. All members get the message whom to vote for.

Considering Paul's ties with Soros, NAMBLA, and other such disgusting life forms, I'm madder at the Birchites than usual . . . and that's sayin' somethin'!

Before the column gets the zot, is it true? I don’t know about the New American, but it has been around for a long time. Even pre-Uncle Nutty. :)

The New American is the magazine of the John Birch Society. Ever hear of them?

I actually used to be a member. There's a reason I'm not any more!

Didn’t you read that it’s not supposed to pay for or promote abortion?

Money is fungible. Right, put that in breaking news.

Chris Smith, Jim Demint, Jeff Sessions and Rick Santorum all support PP and abortion on demand funded by taxpayer money.

How damn stupid can you people get?

Based on what I've read of his voting record, Rick talks conservative, but he sure knows how to vote liberal.

Wonder if he took money from Jack Abramoff? Wonder why Newt is letting him hang around.

Maybe after FL., he'll go join Cain, Perry & Bachmann at the bar.

I don't believe this article will be zotted until/unless the accusations are proven incorrect or so thoroughly incomplete as to be essentially incorrect.

There's no doubt Santorum has been a rhetorical warrior in the war against infanticide and there's no doubt he has sponsored substantial legislation to support that position.

But it appears not every vote was true to cause, similar to most Republicans.

However, Santorum stands on his claim to perfection on this issue, therefore the accusation, if not proven untrue, is valid commentary here.

Unless Jim says otherwise.

I didn't say it wasn't. Where did you ever get that idea? Perhaps you meant to respond to some other poster?

I said the source was the magazine of the John Birch Society and that they were for Paul. That's all I said.

I don't like the John Birch Society. Is that a crime? I was a member once. Have you ever been a member?

"Have you ever been a member? "

No, but I used to consider it in the olden days.

My concern is that we not, as even I have done sometimes, (and against my better nature) impugn the message due to the sh!tty nature of the messenger.

In the war of the next 9 months all of us must be vigilant and remind our compatriots that the world watches us.

The GOP must winnow the field and we must ensure we get our best shot possible.

Please feel free to remind me if I disregard information due to where it came from. I do it all the time:)

A Paul Bot hit piece, and Santorum isn’t here to answer for himself. He’s not even in Congress in order to defund it.

He did not vote for abortion.

Here's an item:

“Vote on a motion to send back to committee HR 796, a bill amending the federal criminal code to prohibit actions directed at clinics which perform abortion procedures, or at those persons attempting to access these clinics.”

This was a vote to send HR 796 back to committee. That's nothing. I'd have to research HR 796, which is the amendment, and also the above mentioned “federal criminal code,” then see if the amendment came up for a vote, etc. Can I do this? you better believe it. Just not now. I have to get up for work in the morning.
