This is not about Santorum personally. He’s a gentleman dedicated to his family, Life, and Country. It’s about his competence in the role of leadership. Santorum is an establishment bit player. It doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy, he’s just not the guy we require at the helm.

Santorum has the best pro-life credentials of any candidate who has run.
BTW - That part about HR 796 and access to abortion clinics. That is a flat out LIE. HR 796 passed by voice vote. The Senate equivalent went back to the house for roll call vote and Santorum voted against it twice.
Sending it back to committee is called tabling a bill. Tabling a bill is a way to kill it by making it languish in committee. Or it's way to change a bill with new language before it goes back to a floor vote.
Voting to send abortion bills back to committee is a positive vote, not a negative. Anyone who knows how a bill becomes law should know that.
What is Santorum’s position on reducing our nuclear arms by 80%? What does he plan on doing about the keystone pipeline? Any plans on how to get oil prices down? Looks like Iran will have a nuke, how does he feel about a madman having a trigger on Israel? We are losing the war in Afghanistan, stay or pull? Obamacare, does he have an immediate plan to repeal, (has to be done immediately.). Not talking very much about illegal immigration, what will be his first step to get this stopped? The economy and trade with china? Seriously people, if we don’t face these immediate and dangerous issues, it’s not going to matter who is or is not pro life, because we could all lose our lives as we know them.
Life is the ultimate concern.
Those others are issues for the same reason as is life. If we don’t correct them then we could lose our lives, our economy, and our freedom.
Here in Ohio the other day, Santorum addressed Obama’s unilateral disarmament of America. He attacked it.
He will be a strong defense conservative.
