Newt Gingrich better hope voters who lapped up his delicious hits on the “elite media” and liberals don’t read the Drudge Report this morning.

Or the National Review. Or the American Spectator. Or Ann Coulter.

If they do, Gingrich comes off looking like a dangerous, anti-Reagan, Clintonian fraud.

It’s as if the conservative media over the past 24 hours decided Gingrich is for real, and they need to come clean about the man they really know before it’s too late.

I remember the 90’s, and I remember Newt scared the crap out of democrats and the media, so they united to smear him.

Newt reclaimed Congress for the GOP, stopped Clinton’s agenda in its tracks, and put into place the entire Contract with America, as promised.

I have posted before -- IA with the Romney/Paul ads were Saturday morning cartoons compared to what would come if Gingrich got any traction.

You think it's bad now? It will be 100 times worse if Gingrich gets the nomination. The barrage from Dems/MSM would be relentless, vicious.

Don't think for a moment that Pelosi's recent retraction has any validity. She was there when Gingrich was in the House. You can bet things about private meetings and behind-the-scenes activities will be leaked, if Gingrich appears to be a viable nominee.

This is all about the elite's/pundit's/media's power structure ...the pundits are an just an extension of the Inside the Beltway cabal (lobbyists and elites of both major parties); it's all a “game” to them that earns them an extremely comfortable living. Newt threatens that paradigm because he was once a part of it and knows how it works ...and Newt has gone “rogue.” That's why all the pundits are pushing Romney.

It is much more than that, though, Newt has become the de facto standard bearer for the Tea Party; therefore, IF NEWT LOSES; THE TEA PARTY LOSES ...and it will garner no respect from the elites in power; who will do their best to totally dismember and destroy it. If that happens the only choice Conservatives will have is a third party movement ...not a good choice and probably doomed to failure.

Conservatives had better all realize that this is a fight for the very soul of Conservatism. Kudos to Gov Perry; I was not his supporter; but, he did the right thing for the country and I salute him! I was a Newt doubter and he was not my primary choice. I am 100% with him now and sent my first contribution several days ago.

Newt is behind according to the latest report from FAUX. We need to get in action. Spent the day yesterday sending links to one of the articles to people on my lists.

Above are three outside of Fr articles that need to be distributed.

If you have email addresses for any MSM, Rush, Malkin, Hannity, any one who can help us get the message out.

Don’t forget to send them to local political people, your congress critters and local media. Also might want to send to email list and ask them to forward to their list (particularly if in Florida)

We saw this in Nevada, Delaware and many other places! The GOP Elites do NOT want the conservatives and Tea Party to upset their apple-cart! They are happy to capitulate and "compromise" with the devil - all on our dime!
