Lake County, FL – Newt 2012 FL announced the formal support of more than 30 Florida based Tea Party leaders who have pledged their support to Newt Gingrich for President of the United States. The coalition of Florida Tea Party Leaders will help elect Newt and defeat Massachusetts Moderate Mitt Romney and then President Barack Obama.

“I’ve considered all the candidates, and Speaker Gingrich has the right combination of vision and experience to lead this country out of the economic misery created by government overreach that has been occurring for generations,” said Peter Lee, Founder and Director of the East Side Tea Party of Orlando. “It is clear to me and many others in the Tea Party movement that Newt is the Reagan Conservative that America needs – not a Massachusetts Moderate.”

Lucky you.

What is the sentiment down there in Florida? Are they buying the Myth TV ad buys up or are they onto the clown.

Hopefully the TeaParty can bring it home for Newt!

Go Newt!

It's been scorched earth down here from all sides against Newt 24/7. Of course it is bound to have some effect among the clueless. The TEA Party endorsed Newt today, and will be out in force to work for and vote for him. Hope it's enough to put him over the top.

same here.

I am now convinced I will never vote for Romney nor give my support or money.

Only difference to Romney and zero is different people will get kickbacks and invites to the white house

The establishment wanted to choose our candidate and we wouldn't let them.

Welcome to the first TEA Party presidential election. GO NEWT!

I’m sure the tea party will help him but how much do you think they will?

Florida is tough. Newt came in late with no money, and Rubio and Bush are aligned with Romney. Romney thought Gingrich would be toast after Iowa.

Newt just needs to hang in until he gets through the southern states. That's where he'll get the delegate count to take Romney to woodpile.

P.S. Remember, Newt was not supposed to win South Carolina.

Todd and Sarah need to get down to Florida ASAP and support Newt.

Were they asked? I doubt the Palins would insert themselves into a campaign unless they were asked by the candidate.

I’ll be honest
I am in NE FL , now I do live in one of the most republican counties in the state but the other counties including Jacksonville are not showing anything for Romney.

I don’;t know what it is liek down in the southern part but after how Romney went after immigrants in SC, NH then surely they will not vote for him.

I see he also copped out on another question and that was the immigration question.
He has now toned it down but in NH,OH he went right after Perry saying a wall needs to be built, send them back he will be strict over it etc

He comes down here and now he’s on about maybe they might go back, WTH
The man is taking all sides and FOX, and others are letting him off for it.
