It isn’t absurd at all, on thread after thread for two days you will have been reading about Rush’s great betrayal of his audience, as he even mocked us, he was enjoying what he was doing to Newt yesterday.
Rush is and was in 2008, a Romney man, what we learned yesterday, is that Rush is a Romney TYPE man as well.
Perhaps you lay on some defense of Drudge while you are at it.

In that case, she should not have given the rationale that she just thought we should “keep it going.” I think that led to many people voting for Newt simply to “keep it going” and, by implication, see what happens, see how the candidates continue to roll out.
That meant that at least some people were not so much voting for Newt to be the nominee, but only voting for him to win SC or, even less, simply to “keep it going.”
In my view, Sarah Palin is the entire reason Newt Gingrich won South Carolina. But the motive she offered voters — to “keep it going” — may not have been the best (although initially I thought it was brilliant).

It seems to me she is doing exactly just that. Once she announced she wasn’t running, she lost a lot of support (not by me, although I was devastated).
She is a smart lady. I think she has been waiting for that “dust to settle” because we are now hearing more and more from her, like we used to.
She’s on a come back, which I am grateful for. She stated after much prayer, she decided not to run. Perhaps there is a plan He has in mind, in which we are not privy to.
Time will tell. But I’m certainly glad she’s back!

Drudge has never been said to particularly relish his homosexuality or embrace it; in fact his gay romantic/sexual side has been described (when alleged) as conflicted and awkward.
David Brock, the former right-wing writer, wrote in his memoir Blinded by the Right about a “scary” date in which Drudge, after bringing Brock flowers and navigating the Santa Monica gay strip “like a pro,” stepped on a competing suitor’s foot “really hard” (in Drudge’s purported words) in a nightclub to scare him away from Brock.
Alec Baldwin stated that Drudge made an advance on him in an ABC Studios hallway, a proposition that had “kind of a creepy quality to it.”
Drudge denied he was gay to the Miami New Times in 2001, even as he launched into a disquisition on (as the New Times put it) “the reigning DJ king of gay circuit parties” and summarized his nightlife thusly: “I go to straight bars, I go to gay bars.”

She could turn this around if she went “all in” for Newt this weekend with a visit to Florida and a pro-Newt proclamation.

Please post the proof of this if you have it. If she can’t endorse, why would she constantly be asked if she was going to endorse on FOX by Hannity and others? Huckabee has also talked about whether or not he would endorse on FOX and said “probably not” and he’s a host, not a commentator like Sarah, who are often openly partisan on FOX. You’re just spreading misinformation here.
