Florida AG Pam Bondi lets the cat out of the bag regarding Romney's National Healthcare plans
From a segment on Greta ^ | Jan 27, 2012 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 01/27/2012 9:52:38 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi who's fighting to repeal ObamaCare appeared on Greta, tonight, defending RomneyCare. She says Romney’s health care plan is not the same as ObamaCare and, in fact, Romney's plan reduces costs. She goes on to say that Romney wants all states to impose similar laws (including mandates) and that she and is all for it.

She went on to explain that she's going to be on Romney’s Health Care Advisory Team when he’s president!

What this means is that while Romney may say he wants to repeal ObamaCare, he actually agrees with it. He believes that RomneyCare, ie, ObamaCare is a model health care plan and all states should impose similar plans.

RomneyCare and ObamaCare are the same thing. The only difference is that Romney's was imposed at the state level where Obama's was imposed nationally.

RomneyCare = ObamaCare = taxpayer funded abortion = death panels = socialism = government force = fascism = tyranny!!

So Romney and his co-conspirators in the GOP establishment are now planning a National Healthcare Task Force to impose top-down government run national healthcare on all 50 states!!

We all know what Reagan said about government by a group of elites and that socialism would be imposed on America through socialized health care. Well, welcome to the Socialist States Of America if Romney is elected.

If the GOP does this then the hell with them!!

This is tyranny!!

We are the resistance!!

Rebellion is on!!

Go, Tea Party!!

Go, Newt!!

Live free or die!!

With all due respect, that is not what I heard. I just heard that he wants the states to be able to decide to do whatever they want to do in their state regarding healthcare. I HATE Romney, especially after what he did yesterday, but I really did not hear the same thing that you did. Just sayin’

Watch for a hell of a lot of "I like Gingrich BUT" and "I hate Romney BUT" coming out of the woodwork...

Lately I notice "Concerned Christians" who post "We're 100% behind Gingrich, but..." and then, bible verses. Exact same people who keep putting up threads how "I don't like Romney, but..." and there's a homily on how we should never criticize another's religion.

Oh yeah, so shrewd.

I posted the video link on the First Coast Tea Party and St. Johns County Tea Party sites.

We need to cover Florida with this before the election next Tuesday. Right now the numbers are shaky.

I have known since day one that Romney would never repeal Obamacare, at best he would tweak it and do something similar to what this article describes.

By the way, it turns out the video linked is only part of the interview. Bondi goes on to say that President Romney’s healthcare task force will work to get rid of ObamaCare then go on to create good healthcare. She says 25 of the governors and attorney generals signed on to the lawsuit against ObamaCare endorse Romney and his plan. They are claiming it’s a states rights issue, but they very definitely want to push the states into mandated RomneyCare-like plans.

States rights is a great thing, but states rights do not trump individual rights! Romney and his socialist comrades want to overlook that little point because they do not believe in individual liberty. That is clear. If they did they wouldn’t push this socialist crap.

Newt understands and openly declares that WE THE PEOPLE are the sovereigns and that the government derives its just powers at the consent of the governed (us). And that our unalienable rights come from God and cannot be taken away by government whether led by a Marxist like Obama or a socialist/statist like Romney! The Declaration of Independence clearly spells out our recourse when the government becomes abusive or destructive to our established republican form of government or our God given Liberty!

Obamacare offers politicians the biggest pot of money to play with since Medicare was created.

Politicians love to play with other people’s money, so it is not a surprise to see established politicians favoring a “reformed” Obamacare that still allows them to play with trillions.

The First Amendment reads, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...”

Technically, I guess that leaves the matter up to the States.

It will never be repealed because many Republicans have wanted some of its major provisions, such as community ratings and accountable care organizations, for years.

Don’t forget - HMOs were created under Nixon as a “public-private partnership” approach toward nationalized health care. As long as private businesses get to profit, most Republican leaders couldn’t care less about quality of care or individual liberty.

Why...instead of creating brand new apparati (see the Boehner chart on 0bamacare)don’t we just start by fixing Medicare and Medicaid? Add portability of private plans and open up competition by being able to buy insurance across state lines. I still defer to Bobby Jindahl on this issue...he had a 10 point plan, he also has a PhD in Healthcare policy.
I can’t remember all of it..but he was for being able to carry your chidren until age 26, it lowers costs by having a larger risk pool. Younger people don’t use medical services nearly as much as older folks..so the costs are spread over a larger pool. That made perfect sense to me.

Good catch, I saw this too. Isn’t that also a promise of a job for Bondi, which is a valuable f——g thing, according to Blago? It’s also against the law.

Jim, FYI - http://www.forbes.com/sites/aroy/2011/10/24/louisiana-gov-bobby-jindal-is-piling-up-an-impressive-health-reform-resume/

An older article on Bobby Jindahl’s accomplishmnets in this area. I hope Newt asks him to be Secretary of Health and Human Services. I can think of no one more qualified than he to lead real reform in this area.

Jim, you are exactly right.

The one thing that’s important to understand, though, is that Obamcare/Romneycare is the FIX (or the fulfillment) of all the socialist interventions that have occurred since the 50s in American medicine.

The reason Pelosi was able to produce a 2400 page bill in 3 days was that the “bill” was just a text dump of ideas that have been kicking around in healthcare policy since the 60s. Most of Obamacare has existed as a draft proposal, or proposals, for forty years or more.

It never, never would have seen the light of day unless the red termites, gnawing away at our foundations, had not already caused enormous damage.

Just like, by the time you have to call Terminix , there may be bad structural damage, the repeal of Obamacare will reveal the damage already done to US medicine, and a lot of fixing remains ahead of us.
