A father has been charged with nearly beating his four-month-old son to death, and a prosecutor announced in court that the child is “not expected to make it” and this “could become a first-degree-murder case.”
The infant’s mother and aunt told Miami Herald news partner CBS4′s Peter D’Oench that they are devastated.
“It’s so so sad for me,” said Mary Chery, the aunt of baby Tavon Mahlab. “This baby was only 4-months-old. It’s terrible. It’s terrible.”
“He has a lot brain damage,” Chery said. “I feel so so bad for him because I loved him so much. My heart aches for him.”

What in the hell is wrong with people? I just don’t get it. I would die for my children. I just can’t imagine yelling at a four month old so the concept of beating one to death is just so foreign to me. All I can do is offer a prayer that this little baby be taken to God where there will be no more suffering, pain or abuse.

In fact, Hussein 0bama0 and his rabid abortion-murder minions would applaud this openly, if they thought they could get away with it. Perhaps the only difference they could muster is that the child’s death should have been administered by a registered physician using a scalpel or chemicals.

Most babies can take a pretty good fall (rolling off the bed etc). I seriously doubt the extent of the abuse as two slaps and a fall..
wow, baby wouldn’t stop crying so he beat his son and shook him. The mom said “they have been together for 18mos and never displayed this kind of behavior”..isn’t that always the case, until a baby shows up...
This is just so sad, I pray this baby will soon be in the loving arms of the Lord.

I didn't see any mention of the mom in the article.
Gee ya sure would hope so.
If the baby lives, go for attempted murder and make him do all the time possible under the law.

You are right.In order for a baby to suffer the injuries this one has in a fall it would have to be from a second floor onto concrete head first which is no what happened.It sounds like he shook the baby then probably slammed him head first onto the table
This little boy if he doesn’t make it will go straight to God’s arms. I would die for any of my three kids, and on top of that, I would die for any kid who happens to be in need when I happen by, my only regret would be I can only die once.
Of all the stories I see, the ones that hurt the children hurt me the most, it breaks my heart.
