Palin: ‘Rage against the machine, vote for Newt, annoy a liberal’ (video of Palin on Fox tonight)
Daily Caller ^ | 1/28/12 | Jeff Poor

On Saturday night’s “Justice with Jeanine” on the Fox News Channel, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin once again stopped just short of giving former House Speaker Newt Gingrich her outright endorsement for the Republican nomination.

In her appearance, she explained that despite criticisms of Gingrich’s long career in Washington, D.C., she doesn’t consider him part of the establishment because that same “establishment” is trying to hard to keep him from becoming the nominee.

As a faux news contributor(on Payroll) I’m not sure that Sarah can technically endorse anyone. So, if everyone has been watching her actions and her words, she is getting as close to an endorsement as she can, contractually speaking.

-- this is breaking news...Geraldo on covering the cruise liner that went down... --

Well, the liner is broken, yes?

Fox-News is just a tool. Not worth getting angry over, watch it or not (I don't), but my advice is to not trust it, and to not get so invested in them that you care, one way or the other.

Maybe we should arrange our own Black Thursday....Flood the GOP email box with comments like you just said and write a letter and enclose two pennies. They have to record every sent that’s donated, donor, employer etc.

I can’t stand that overly made-up harridan. She’s haughty and smug.

Cutting Sarah Palin off due to a hard break.

Shame on her.

Personally, I love Americans who came from Cuba. They are some of the most patriotic citizens in this country.

Thank you from my heart, dearest you, KC_Lion. Sarah’s supporters are the very best. She didn’t let us down, we understood and stayed with her, knowing full well that she has her priorities right for this time in her life. She’s a TEA Patriot warrior. She’ll have her choice of positions in a Gingrich administration. God bless and keep both good patriots.

if you are in a 3-delegate caucus and the vote is 13 romney, 10 ronpaul, 4 newt (assume 15% viability threshold).... then NEWT gets 0 delegates and the 4 NEWTs get a chance to re-group with one of the other groups.

If the 4 newts join ronpaul, he gets 2 delegates and romney gets 1.

I wonder if the NEWTS were given instructions on who to group with ... seems RS would be first choice and then rp over mitt.

-- I have to admit I had doubts early on about Sarah, as she seemed to be propelled to the forefront so quickly, but she has proven herself to be a total class act, with courage and clarity. --

She's a real good egg. Gingrich is more articulate and more experienced. She's got a decent role in keeping him honest. I don't think she'd shy away from disagreeing with something he advocates or asserts - after he's elected president.

She explicitly said, for each of the four, that she wants to hear more from them. She explicitly says she wants to keep the process going. She does come out against some of the intra-party attacks and clearly mentions some made against Newt. She said more nice things about Newt than the others, although she said some nice things about all four. However, she declined to endorse Newt at this time and appeared to be trying to frame a different point than that when she was cut off.

I think Newt fans would be overreaching this to claim it as an endorsement by Palin. She doesn't appear to want anybody out yet. Newt fans should, instead, hype the heck out of Cain's endorsement. Neither Romney nor Paul supporters, if any are still here, should have had any hopes of a Cain endorsement and thus should accept it as inevitable. Santorum folks might have hoped Cain would endorse Rick, but tonight instead should be focused on praying for Bella. Yet another recovery by his already miraculous daughter would do Rick more good than any mere political endorsement.

Jeanine was more than a little bit of a Beacht with Sarah. All she does is praise Mittens and attacks Newt, or anyone that takes up for him.

“Wants to” become more liberal?

They already are.

Sad, too, I used to like them, but now it’s all Mittens, all the time.

And bashing Newt constantly. Judge Jeanine was particularly loathsome tonight.

To be fair, Bill O’Reilly of all people, has been pretty even handed, as has Hannity. I suspect Greta would be as well, just haven’t watched her much lately.

The rest can go to hell.

Gov Palin understand a FL win for the establishment darling Romney effectively kills the nomination battle and anoints him.

She also understands Romney is a weak candidate who needs to be honed by a competitive race or there will be no hope of defeating Obama. She also understands a competitive race helps Newt as well.
