WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta has confirmed publicly for the first time that an imprisoned doctor in Pakistan was working with the C.I.A. to gain access to Osama bin Laden’s compound in the months before American troops killed Bin Laden last May.

Sadly, the Billions of dollars in yearly checks, courtesy of US taxpayers, to Pakistan will continue. We will just borrow that from China.
No doubt,he just got the guy killed.

Reason’s Panneta might do that.
1. The Pakis already got it out of the imprisoned doctor so it makes no difference.
2. Its a warning to other Paki insiders who are helping us to keep cooperating or get finked.
3. Way to help reduced the national debt so we don’t have to pay the $30 million dollar reward.
I know that playing politics is a lot like playing pool. If you can’t make a good shot, make a shot that makes it difficult for you opponent.
The current administration may know that it will be a one-term administration and has decided that it will burn all possible bridges whereever it goes from here on. Just so the next Republican president will have a real mess on its hands when sworn in.
That's utter bull $hit. I saw on all the MSM stations where Obama took victory laps from coast-to-coast for a week, claiming full responsibility for everything, including personally gathering intelligence, personally flying the SEALS in on the chopper, leading the SEALS down the hall and into OBL's room and personally shooting him. That Penetta doesn't have a clue of what went on.

One suspects that Ayers BFF and military-hating Obama selected Panetta for SecDef for a very good reason.
By all I've seen, Panetta fits in with this administration quite comfortably.

I almost lost it when I heard this. Either there is some other reason beyond the ken of those of us who dont have the appropriate security clearance.
Or every asset we have anywhere was just served notice that we will not stand by them.

All the Islamic nations now take us for fools. Iraq just held two of our Embassy security people for two weeks and the State Dept didn’t even notify thier next of kin. Put for inquiring wife and Congressional intervention..they might still be held.
Peneta, like all the other Democrats, is an incompetent fool. It’s not in his genes to give thought to the safety of the United States or it’s allies.
Every fiber in his being is focused on opposing Conservatives. Nothing else matters. So anything having to do with national security is not important, because that’s something Conservatives do care about.
Or for some reason he is the doctor that knows too much.
